«Room on the first night had a mattress that was 10 to 15 years old. Springs were so broken there were two body shapes in the mattress 4 to 6 inches deep. Couch was old and dirty. Room smelled of body odor. After complaining the next morning, we were told nothing else was available, but another mattress cover was offered. Then after much heated exchange explaining we bought a room and it was not suitable for anyone to stay in, we were offered a room but was a downgrade from ocean view to ...

«⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Birthday Stay Ever! 🌺 We had the absolute best stay at Hale Hokuala Kauai! The hotel is absolutely breathtaking, extremely clean, peaceful, and secluded, making it feel like your own little paradise. The amenities are fantastic, and there’s even a beach access path right next to the hotel. The location is perfect because you feel tucked away, yet you’re conveniently located near everything on the island. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to ...

«I have no clue how they have such a high rating and good reviews. I was unimpressed from the moment I got out of the car. The rooms are outdated and not clean. It smelt like wet mildew during the entire stay. The pool was always dirty and always had debris in it. The staff were friendly and that was about all I could say good about this stay. Kauai was wonderful but Kauai Inn was not! Would never recommend!»

«If you are looking for a luxury resort this is not the place. The rooms are small and the location is a little dicey. However if you are looking for an affordable home base. A location between the north and south. My room was clean. Close to the airport but traffic at the airport at night is minimal. I spent very little time in the hotel. Sightseeing. The beaches, Waimea Canyon, sunsets at Kekaha Beach. I had a great stay. Once the lights are out, all rooms look the same.»

«The resort has some great features, especially the beautiful pools and the excellent check-in experience. The welcome was warm and made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the evenings were disappointing. There was very little nightlife, no real bar atmosphere, and almost everything closed by 9:00 p.m., which made the resort feel quiet much too early. The drinks at the bar were also below expectations, and the bartenders and bar staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or enthusiastic, which ...

«Over all our stay was amazing. The view was breathtaking. Unit was clean. Was enough for just the two of us. Our unit did not have AC or central air. That is the only negative thing. I would definitely stay there again just not in August and the extreme heat.»

«The room had a balcony with a great ocean view. The pool was small but very nice. This property seemed to attract young families. Our room had nice countertops, was nicely decorated, but the carpet in the living room was dirty. The shelves in the closets were rusty, so we hung our clothes instead. We had to park on the road under trees which made for a car covered in bird droppings every morning. It is a quiet condo. complex near Safeway and close to a great walking/biking trail. There is a game ...
