The first nights stay was bad, the people in the room next to me smoked right outside of my ground floor room, the smoke was sucked into my room by the AC unit, and the cigarette smell was unbearable. That morning I went to the front desk to complain and requested a room change. The front desk woman seemed a little upset that I would complain and request a room change. Finally, she put in my request at about 9:00 am., made me check out of my current room before she made the room change and I had to store my luggage at the front desk. I ask how long it would take to get my new room, she said it could take several hours! Finally after waiting 2.5 hours I called Expedia and told them of the problem, they called the hotel and spoke with the front desk, and explained that I've been waiting 2.5 hours sitting in the lobby. Expedia requested they expedite my room change. After another hour the hotel called me to say my room was ready. I feel like I lost the majority of my day sitting and waiting, very sad and disappointing.
