disappointed, but great view

Great view. Grounds well maintained. Nice location.Unit DEFINITELY NEEDS SOME REPAIR:bathroom venting permanently disabled due to "noise"; fix it.Shades in bedroom don't workWindow louvers broken so windows don't open (multiple)Ice chest brokenBeach shades brokentoo few bath towels: 3 for 2 peopleNo closet in 2nd bedroom and little space to store anythingPut some money in to the unit and fix these basic items. Would not stay in this unit again or recommend it. For the price, I'm sure there are better maintained units, and noticed building mostly empty.

Loved our time here...

The condo was great spot to stay and use as a base to explore the whole island over our stay. We stayed at the end of March 2025. Walking distance to several beaches and an easy drive to many more. Easy access to the whole island and our daily adventures! The view was impeccable and it was fantastic watching whales swim by and turtles bobbing around in the surf below the deck. The condo was a vacation inside of our vacation. People mentioned the lack of AC as negative? We found the climate to be perfect and did not need AC in the condo. We live in Wyoming, so maybe if you live in AC most of the year, than you need it to feel comfortable? With the doors and windows open it, we were always comfortable, enjoying exactly what we came for, Warm weather! It is not the Four Seasons, so if you need that level of finish and amenities, I would look elsewhere. If you are down to earth and practical, looking for a clean place that is ocean side to bask in while you are on Kauai, than this condo is a great choice! We will be Back! Thank you

Outstanding!

The view was amazing and the condo very nice. We had zero issues during our stay. The pictures and description were all accurate. We even got to watch the turtles in the ocean a few times right from the lanai. We would love to return to this place in the future!

Lovely, well appointed condo with amazing ocean view. The patio was a treat to sit on each morning and evening and watch the turtles and dolphins swim by. Communication with management staff was excellent.

Gorgeous view and peaceful surroundings

This condo had everything we needed - some kitchen and laundry basics, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella. Easy parking, mostly quiet neighbors and spectacular ocean views (with dolphins, turtles and even a whale!). We would definitely stay here again.

Paradise

Ocean views were amazing. Great to see turtles swimming right from our lanai. Being 1 step up from pool level gave us a much better view of ocean. Communication with property management was easy when a lightbulb needed replacement. They even sent us a notification when a highway accident occurred to allow for extra travel time to get to our destination for the morning. Greatly appreciated. Hope to be back.

Lulled to sleep by ocean waves

Would return in a heartbeat! We could hear the waves in both bedrooms. Showers were great. Pool was refreshing. Poipu beach is amazing. Stayed in 201 15 years ago! Didn’t realize until we got here. Location is quiet and beautiful

Great Location for a Relaxing Getaway

We had a really good time in our rental (Poipu Palms 204). The experience overall was great. The view right off the ocean was a million dollar view. The rental was small, but neat and not cluttered. We knew going in there would be no AC, but the fans and crosswinds made it work. The rooms are very small. Much smaller than we had planned for. We were 3 adults and 1 toddler. The master was not big enough for us to have the toddler bed in, so we had to use the living room. It's not a knock on the space. More something to be aware of if you are in a similar situation to ours. The one annoying thing was that the bathroom fans were not connected due to noise. It made for a bit of a humid environment after showers. But, for a place to chill and soak in the sun and relax, this was perfect. Staff was friendly and easy to work with. Communicated and checked in more than once during our 6 day stay. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing ocean vista, cozy accomodations.

Had three excellent nights at this unit. We generally don't spend much time at the rental while on vacation, but we loved the lanai and the pool deck to the point it made it hard to leave everyday. The interior was cozy and felt like home immediately. Great sunset views a short walk down the hill, generally stayed cool when the ceiling fans were on, lots of nearby shopping and eating. The sound of the ocean crashing into the rocks below every night might be the thing I miss most. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!

Comfortable stay at an unbeatable location

We really enjoyed our stay at Poipu palms - the unit was comfortable and had everything we needed. The best part was the location - water views right from the unit, and the sounds of waves crashing throughout the day. Poipu beach was walking distance, and other restaurants/stores were a short drive away. We would definitely considering staying here again!

Hawaiian Relaxation

We came to Hawaii to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed everything Kauai has to offer. We also loved the view from Poipu Palms -- beautiful ocean views and daily turtle sightings (no matter the time)!
