«We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. «Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of before booking is that this condo does not have air conditioning. That was my oversight when booking, but I didn’t realize the evenings would get warm enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. «Great location, and property was very clean and organized upon arrival. Nice view overlooking the grounds and partial ocean. Kiahuna is my part of the south shore, so I love staying here. The rental had some very minor issues, but nothing that took away from my stay. Check in was super easy, and they even called the day before to confirm arrival time. The hosts are very easy to communicate with, and they even had some goodies for me upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.»

"The resort has some great features, especially the beautiful pools and the excellent check-in experience. The welcome was warm and made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the evenings were disappointing. There was very little nightlife, no real bar atmosphere, and almost everything closed by 9:00 p.m., which made the resort feel quiet much too early. The drinks at the bar were also below expectations, and the bartenders and bar staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or enthusiastic, which affected the overall experience. The property itself is lovely, but extending the evening offerings and improving the bar service would make a big difference."
