Being on the top/second floor means beautiful views with only one flight of stairs to climb, extra privacy and great trade winds. Simply roll your suitcase through the front door and walk straight out onto the lanai and enjoy the view.

FAQs - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

HOW DO I GET MY FREE LEI GREETING FOR TWO?
If you are staying 7 nights or longer, you will receive a free lei greeting for two people upon arrival at LIH airport. Once you complete your reservation, you will need to provide your flight details and we will take care of the rest. The Lei greeting will take place at the baggage claim area.


DOES THE CONDO HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?
YES! There is a powerful AC unit in the living room. The unit also has a ceiling fan in each room, an extra portable fan as well as extra vented windows to maximize the flow of the ocean breeze.

DOES THE CONDO INCLUDE USE OF A POOL & FITNESS CENTER?
Yes. All Kiahuna Plantation guests have free access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club across the street. For access you will check in at Poipu Beach Athletic Club. You will find a large swimming pool, water slide, hot tub, full gym, full locker rooms, 2 half basketball courts, 3 pickleball courts and 4 tennis courts. They provide all sporting equipment such as basketballs, tennis racquets and balls, pickleball equipment, table tennis, etc. Lastly, there is an onsite restaurant and bar with full service and a great menu.

WHAT FLOOR IS THE CONDO ON?
Our condo is on the top/2nd floor of Bldg. 23. Just a few steps from where you will park which is convenient for bringing in luggage and groceries!

CAN YOU HEAR ROAD NOISE FROM THE CONDO?
No. This unit is far away from Poipu Road where the road noise comes from. You may, however, hear the ocean waves coming from the beach.

IS BEACH GEAR INCLUDED?
Yes! The condo includes bodyboards, beach chairs, beach mats, and a cooler. There is rental hut on the beach that provides free beach towels, free beach chairs and additional paid beach gear rentals.

GOOD TO KNOW:
- Coffee machine is a 12 cup regular drip. Ground hawaiian coffee for one pot is provided.
- Washer and Dryer takes credit card only

Wonderful hosts!

We just finished a lovely Kauai vacation and enjoyed our time in the kiahuna plantation condo. Communication with our host was quick and efficient. Shortly prior to our stay we were notified about construction in the unit below, which didn’t turn out to be an issue at all yet we appreciated the communication. We extended our stay by one day and the host was quick and gracious with their reply! Would recommend!

Plantation Condo 100 Yards from Beach

The grounds were beautiful and the staff friendly and helpful. However, the condo was a bit dated and in minor disrepair (i.e. the dishwasher did not work which was not mentioned in any communication, and the overhead fan in the bedroom needed repair). We appreciated the beach gear, the amenities, the closeness to the beach and the comfortable bed.

Beautiful property but tired condo

Have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation previously and love the beauty, amenities and service provided here!! This particular condo is in need of a refresh however (especially bathroom area and kitchen). It offers a beautiful garden view! Pictures must have been brightened/enhanced quite a bit as it is much darker than in those pics. While it is on the second floor, there is no penthouse feel about this place. Owner provided all important info for checking in and out along with a few ideas for things to do during our stay.

Definitely repeat stay worthy !

This is a great location with a perfect beach, shopping and good food close by. The condo was clean and quiet with AC! The owners were great communicators and there was beach equipment available so we didn’t have to rent any. The bed is very comfortable which is important to me. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo is perfectly located on the south shore for a great winter retreat from the north country. Kiahuna plantation is beautiful maintained, quiet and friendly. Having access to the Poipu Athletic facility rounds out a perfect holiday. The apartment is reasonably well appointed, but I would recommend a little refresher and better maintenance and a weekly cleaning and linen change. All in all we stayed for a month and had a comfortable and relaxing time.

Perfect One Bedroom Condo

This nice, clean, fair priced units will suit all of your needs when you are staying on Kauai. The grounds at the Plantation are beautiful. The unit is clean and has everything you'll need. They even have a full closet of water toys and such. The host is great at getting back to you right away too. We loved it!

"Tired" Unit in Good location with Responsive Host

This 1 BR condo is adequate, but it is very dark in there, even on a sunny day. It really would benefit from some updates. The stove/oven is very old, and there were just the bare necessities in the kitchen. The closet contained plenty of beach equipment.The King bed was quite comfortable, and there was a nice variety of king pillows (but no king pillow cases, which seemed strange.) When we arrived and were feeling around in the dark trying to turn on the bedroom lights, we weren't happy that we could feel dust on the end tables and lamps . The host was responsive, but it would have been helpful to have an "instruction sheet" like most places we have rented that explains basic things like which of 4 remotes to use to get the TV to work, when and how you can swap out dirty bath towels, where to take the trash, etc.In spite of some of these negatives, we focused on how lucky we were to be there and had a great time

Grab it if you can

We always start our visits to Kauai on the North Shore, then head south to Poipu where it’s always warmer and sunnier. You can’t beat the Plantation … a walk away from one of the best beaches on the island and this condo offers comfort, all the amenities you might need, a terrific outdoor gym nearby, and proximity to everything the Southside has to offer. 5 Stars all the way!

Perfect place for us!

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights. The place was absolutely perfect for us! The A/C worked great! The bed was comfortable, kitchen was stocked with what we needed, the shower was wonderful after a long, hot day of being at the beach, hiking, or sightseeing. They had a wide variety of beach items, including beach chairs &.a cooler. We would definitely stay there again!

Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai by OUTRIGGER: Office hour 7-9 (not 24 hour front desk), signs are hard to follow even with a map, specially for late check-in, dark at night, signs are not clear and frequent enough for direction to the Office. Late check-in procedure was a bit cumbersome. Front Desk gave conflicting info for Free access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Condo: LOVE the complementary lei greeting for 2 at the airport . Our parking section was always full after for return at night, perhaps each condo can park more than 1 cars?.. . Only one entry point to the condo's section. It's 3 switch-back stairs to carry up for luggage. . Private Balcony lanai, though it's next to the AC machine that pumps out hot air.   . Condo has beach gears as described, not noted in the description are the snorkels, kid's size, 2 adult pairs. One Boogie board no longer grip the band. . Love the cooler with ice packs ready for outings. . Sofa bed/couch could use a pad replacement, our 110 pound girl could feel the spring on her back, not comfortable for 9 nights. . The shared BBQ grills are on near the beach, first come first serve. . The kitchen could use a small jars of oil, salt & pepper to hold us until the next day grocery trip. We used the non-stick pan most often. Enough dish detergent for 9 nights. Great knife set. We couldn't find the place-mats for the glass table, had to use paper towels. . Smart TV is not smart, has no Blue-tooth option. . The property has no gas, so no carbon

Very nice unit

We had a great stay at the Plantation. Grounds were very nice, restaurants within walking distance, and a very fun beach right on the property. We would definitely stay here again. Host is very responsive and easy to work with.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. We had a great stay. The place was clean and really close to the beach. It was nice to be able to carry the chairs provided down to the water each day and go for a swim. Poipu is our favorite spot on the island and this trip did not dissapoint. We would book here again.

This unit was great! A nice location, good view from the lanai, lots of beach toys including snorkeling gear, and the A/C was sooooo nice when we were "home" (it was hot when we were there). Good communication with property manager.

Condo on Great Beach

We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation several times. It sits on a great beach for swimming and boogie boarding (our favorite), and this condo is a very short walk to the beach. It also is close to so many things (Poipu Beach to see the turtles and monk seals at sunset), restaurants (at the nearby hotels or across the street), boat trips and the airport (within 20-30 minutes). We prefer condos versus hotels, since we don't like to have to go out for every meal (especially breakfast). The kitchen is well-stocked, and it was nice to have boogie boards and beach chairs (there are also chaise lounges on the lawn). There is A/C in the living room (most units don't have A/C) and several fans which were much appreciated. The owners were very responsive!

Amazing Kiahuna Resort condo in Poipu

Sandy & Ericks Kiahuna Resort condo in Poiipu is Amazing. Every detail covered in their description was as described and their communication was very helpful for arrival, check-in, and parking. The Condo was perfect and the location to the beach, resort, and local delights was perfect. All you need for a step into the slow pace of a tranquil, tropical, and well-deserved vacation. Our only regret was we did not stay longer as we planned too much for our trip. We will have to come back again. We highly recommend Sandy & Ericks Kiahuna Resort condo :-)
