Enjoy your stay in paradise in the comfort of our spacious, ground floor contemporary, island-style 1 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Whether you’re in the living room, kitchen, dining area, or lanai, our ocean views will enchant you! Enjoy your morning breakfast or evening cold beverage while watching whales breach, waves crash, and dolphins leap. Poipu sunsets are mesmerizing!

Poipu Kapili is one of Kauai’s finest south shore, small boutique resorts with only 60 units on 5 acres of lush, tropical gardens and grounds. Our location is perfect! The beach, a variety of restaurants and shops are just a quick, oceanfront five-minute stroll away. Snorkeling, surfing, golf, hiking, or diving are within walking distance or just a 5 minute drive. Perhaps you’d rather just relax on one of the lounge chairs at our gorgeous, spa-like pool that is just steps outside your door. Our ocean view pool is a calming retreat, surrounded by palms and lush gardens.

After your day of exploring, soaking up the sun, or taking advantage of the many local activities available, you will look forward to returning to our island retreat. We’ve taken care to provide all the comforts of home. Just pack your bag and leave the rest to us!

• Towels and linens are provided.
• We have taken extra care to clean and sanitize our condo between guest visits.
• The kitchen includes both a Keurig and a drip coffeemaker, complete dishware, pots, pans and all the cooking utensils you need if you wish to cook in or use the resort gas or charcoal barbeques.
• We have your beach gear including a cooler, beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and even boogie boards.
• The resort includes tennis and pickle ball courts, the pool, herb garden and a coin operated laundry for guests.
• A dedicated parking spot is right outside your door.
• The master bedroom is cooled by a portable air conditioner and the whole condo has ceiling and floor fans through out. We do not have central AC.

Our condo is perfect for your dream vacation. Take a morning walk along the ocean path to take in shoreline vistas, see monk seals and sea turtles hauled out and resting on the sand. Several top golf courses are nearby. Hike along the Koloa Coastal Heritage Trail. Take a drive to the North shore for beautiful day in Hanalei town and swim in the bay. Head to the western side of the island to stroll the artsy town of Hanapepe and continue up to Waimea Canyon, the magnificent Grand Canyon of the Pacific and peer down on the amazing Napali coast. Many quaint island shops are nearby and don’t forget to treat yourself to a delicious shave ice, the local treat! We know your Kauai vacation will be memorable!

We absolutely loved this property. The location is wonderful - very central in Poipu, with a stunning ocean view that we enjoyed every single day.The unit itself was incredibly comfortable. The furniture, beds, and sofas all felt thoughtfully chosen, and the hosts went above and beyond with amenities and small details that made the stay feel special.Check-in was seamless, with very clear instructions, and the hosts were consistently communicative and helpful throughout our visit.Highly recommend this place - we’d happily stay here again!

Check-in and communication were excellent. The condo was beautiful, with stunning ocean views — we watched sunsets from just outside the lanai and walked just a few minutes the other way for sunrise. The space is large, with two full bathrooms, and the beach chairs, towels, and coolers were a great touch. We couldn’t have had a better stay. Mahalo!

We live on Maui and we decided to spend a few weeks on Kauai. Part of our time on Kauai was in this unit and we feel that we made a good choice. The development is quiet and well located. It is easy walking distance to a number of restaurants and shops. The unit had nice ocean views and was well appointed. Communication with the owner was clear and responsive. The one thing to mention is that only the bedroom has AC, so if you are particularly sensitive to the heat, that is something to consider. The fans and open windows help a lot with that. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone considering visiting Poipu.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay over Labor Day weekend. The condo was well-equipped with everything we needed, offering a stunning ocean view and easy, walkable access to nearby beaches.The pool area was beautifully maintained—we especially enjoyed spending our mornings there. In the evenings, we joined others along Hoonani Road to take in the spectacular sunsets.Poipu Beach is a short drive or a longer walk away, and it was truly special to see sea turtles there at sunrise each morning. We also loved Kiahuna Beach, just a quick walk from the condo. It was less crowded than Poipu and better suited for swimming, in our opinion.A few minutes down the road is a great shopping center with excellent dining and boutique shops. We highly recommend Little Fish for breakfast and Scotty Brown’s for a tasty/healthy sit-down dinner.While there was a hiccup with the unit not being cleaned before our arrival, Jerry responded quickly and had the issue resolved right away. Though it was an inconvenience, the hosts handled it professionally and made things right. We believe it was a one-time oversight and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The condo was very clean, just as nice as the pictures, and had a well-appointed kitchen. The ocean view from the patio was beautiful. The grounds and the pool were also nice and well-maintained. We just spent 5 wonderful days in this property. Everything was as good or better than our expectations from the photos. The neighborhood was excellent - an easy walk to a great beach and many restaurants. The bed was comfortable and I tend to be fussy about beds. The breezes flow directly through the condo, and the ac works well in the bedroom. We slept very soundly. I would definitely book again if we come back. Amy and Jerry were lovely hosts.

The spacious property had everything we needed. Was nicely decorated and comfortable. The pool and grounds were well taken care of and very pretty. The view of the ocean was beautiful from this unit. The homeowners were great in that they corresponded ahead of time with information about activities to do and links for reservations. Also had a wonderful book with more information upon arrival.

Wonderful stay in Paradise!

We loved our stay. It was our first time back to Kauai in 35 years, and it lived up to the memory! The condo was conveniently located; close to beaches, restaurants and other activities, yet was quiet and serene. We loved having our morning coffee on the lanai, watching the sunrise and sunset, walking down to Poipu Beach, seeing sea turtles, Monk seals and even breaching whales. The unit was very clean and well-equipped, from the kitchen to the coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas. Our hosts were very attentive to details (they thought of everything!) and were easy to communicate with. We feel so fortunate that Amy and Jerry shared their island home with us! We hope to be able to come back soon! I would highly recommend staying here!

Great condo and superb location. Spotless, well appointed and tastefully decorated throughout. Modern and confortable. Best location, IMO. Owner communication was great before and after visit. Coming back next Spring for sure.

Great location and very peaceful

We really enjoyed the location, having close dedicated parking space and easy access to the pool as well as beach and pool towels, umbrellas, fans and AC in the bedroom but the cross breeze in April was amazing!. We loved being able to walk to multiple beaches, restaurants and more. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful stay!

We had an amazing stay and would come back again. The condo was beautiful and had all of the essentials and more! The beach was within walking distance and was very nice. The location was ideal and within walking distance to shopping and eateries. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

Little fixes would make it 5-star.

First and foremost, this property is incredibly beautiful— even better than shown in the pictures—and the location is perfect. The only things that kept me from giving it 5 stars are as follows: Air Conditioning: The air conditioner in the master bedroom needs an upgrade. It is a portable unit connected to the outside wall with duct tape. It's really loud and inefficient due to the exhaust duct leaking a considerable amount of hot air back into the room. If this were a second-floor unit where the doors could be kept open without security concerns, the breeze might be enough for the evening and night without additional cooling, but not after the daytime heat build-up from being closed. On a side note, the door screens could use some attention as well. I’m from Texas and appreciate any A/C, but this is a million-dollar condo and should have a professionally installed unit in the master. Cable Box: We were never able to get sound from the cable. The owner was contacted, but the problem was never resolved. This was simply a nuisance, but it would have been nice to hear the activities on the Kauai channel and local news. Streaming worked fine. Coffee Maker: The Keurig worked well, but we bought ground coffee to save on plastic. The small 5-cup drip coffee maker took so long to brew that it would cut off at 4 cups. A new 10 or 12-cup coffee maker would make mornings a lot nicer. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

35th Wedding Anniversary

Poipu Kapili was a wonderful place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The condo was just perfect. It was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and much more! The view from the patio is simply breathtaking. It was convenient to be garden level with a quick walk to the pool and the beach across the street, where we loved watching sunsets and sea turtles. It is close to shops and restaurants both by foot and car. The hosts were very helpful, easy to get in touch with, and very responsive. We especially appreciated their tips such as stopping at the grocery store on the way to the condo from the airport and restaurant suggestions. We also were provided beach chairs, towels, snorkeling equipmen, and coolers. This was so great for the days we spent at the beach. We are already talking about going back!

We had an amazing time. The condo was great. Loved having two bathrooms. Location was perfect. Views forever. Only complaint was not having a/c in the unit. It was very hot and humid and pretty uncomfortable. The bedroom does have an a/c unit which was our saving grace. We wouldn’t have been able to sleep otherwise.
