Villaer i Koh Samui

«Skye Beach Hotel er et must sted. Vi var her nå for tredje gang på tre år. Det har blitt vår første stopp på sommerferien vår i Thailand. Store flotte suiter med sjøutsikt og privat uteplass og privat basseng. I år savnet vi frokost servert på rommet. De har nå åpnet restauranten Spoon litt lenger nede i veien, som frokosten var på. Nydelig mat på Spoon, men ønsker oss tilbake til frokost servert på rommet. Vakkert sted! »

«We loved our stay at Garto, it was by far our favourite resort on our travels. The staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. The villas are large with a separate kitchen, very comfortable beds/seating area, large terrace and the most amazing, privacy screened, outdoor waterfall shower. They are also spotlessly clean with all amenities. The resort makes you feel like you are in nature with lots of greenery and a pool overlooking the sea. Breakfast was huge and cooked to order. «I would not stay here again. The property itself was fine, but the checkout process was disappointing and stressful. I was accused of staining bedding and asked to pay for replacement items and cleaning costs. Although I tried to cooperate, I found the process lacked transparency. When I asked for photos of the alleged stains, I was told I needed to inspect the items in person. I was then sent an invoice to justify the charges. «I don’t think you should ever try to charge people a 10% surcharge for using a credit card. You shouldn’t try to profit off a credit card transaction. I can understand you wanting to recoup your fees, but to try to make an additional 5% from a credit card. Not cool. Everything else was amazing. The staff is incredible. Obviously the staff doesn’t choose what the credit card fees are so this is really something for the owner to figure out.»
