Flott hotell og fenomenalt personale. Utrolig serviceinnstilte. Lokasjonen var det eneste "minuset", litt vanskelig å gå til flere plasser. Men så har hotellet en gratis shuttleservice innimellom.

Fantastic stay
We had a great 12 days experince at Meridien! We had the plunge pool room and loved it. Although the pool is a bit chilly. The outdoors bathroom is great and they did a good job fighting off the mosquitos. I think we saw 7 mosquitos altogether while we where there. The pool staff is excellent serving us drinks at the poolside always with a smile and the food is lovely as well. We would highly recommend the hotel and would love to come back!

Personlig service. Supert hotell. Minus at det ikke er lett å bade ved hotellet. Selv ytterst på flytebryggen er det knapt dypt nok til å svømme. Masse koraller I sjøen som det er lett å skjære seg på.

Perfekt
Dette er det beste hotellet vi bodde på i Thailand. Fra vi ankom resepsjonen hvor vi ble møtt av en hyggelig innsjekkingsdame, til vi reiste passet personalet på oss på beste måte. Frokostbuffeten var fantastisk bra, de hadde alt en kunne ønske. Rommet var stort med deilige senger og dyner. Baderommet var stort og hadde utendørs dusj, toalett og stort badekar. LCD-tv på både bad og hovedrom. Det var egen lounge til hvert rom med kjøleskap og ventende fruktkurv. Poolen var flott og hotellet hadde privat molo hvor en også kunne ligge. Stranden utenfor hotellet var veldig langgrunt. Vil definitivt reist tilbake om muligheten byr seg.

Vi hadde bestilt et rom med direkte adgang til felles pool. Rommet var fantastisk med deilig stort bad som ga en spa følese. Det var også delvis utendørs i enden av badet (ved kloosettet og dusjen) Dette medførte at en del mygg kom inn både dag og natt. Hver kveld klargjorde personalet badet med myggspiral og annet myggfjernende middel. Flott terrasse med daybed og direkte adgang til pool. Vi hadde sett for oss dette stedet som et rekreasjonssted med stillhet og ro, men opplevde at det til tider kunne være mye støy fra badende og skrikende barn, også barn som ikke bodde ved denne poolen. Totalt sett var vi veldig fornøyde med dette oppholdet.

An oase on Samui
I spent a week here, and this hotel is pure luxury. The hotel is well maintained, and it has a breath taking design.

Used to be an amazing nice hotel and In immaculate condition when it was run by Les Meridian. We had stayed there multiple times pre-COVID. Now it’s looking very dated, nothing to do in the hotel (they used to run little events- cooking lessons etc..). Now there’s really nothing to do there. The beach front is dirty and full of litter, plastic and dead fish. This small beach area in front of the hotel used to be cleaned regularly and this is no longer the case. I see other hotels cleaning their beach area daily - this hotel does not. Also Lamai and the immediate area around the hotel also seems to have not recovered from Covid - places we used to go to are gone etc.. All this and they still charge what Les Meridian charged when it’s not as good seems unreasonable. This was our third and last time we will stay there - which is a shame. No fault of the staff and people working there- they are brilliant, just seems to be the people running it trying to do it on the cheap.

Best hotel in Lamai for sure
We booked this hotel last minute as our previously booked and paid for hotel cancelled last minute. We were so happy at The Lamai Samui. It was serene, pool was gorgeous, staff friendly and food was great. We had 5 nights in total, 1 in a terrace room and 4 in a private pool villa. Pool villa was lovely, very private and loads of space. We were sad to check out and wished we were staying. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Very poor for a 5 star
Very dark room, bathroom was open shower and it smelled. Tv far too small for room and hardly any channels in English, you would expect satellite tv in a 5 star establishment. Drawers kept sticking, furniture old and not too clean either. Pool was nice. Very shabby hotel

The property was beautiful at night with the lights in the dining area and around the trees. I especially liked the dock extending from the beach. The breakfast buffet was great and enjoyable with the view of the pool and beach. The staff was very friendly and efficient. It was great to use the mats in the fitness center to stretch and do yoga.

This property is beautifully set in an established garden on Lamai beach. The rooms are nicely designed with a classic style that suits the tropics. We were very impressed by the friendly service that always did there best to assist inspite of being a team that is only 1/5 of what it was pre Covid. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone, especially if you can indulge yourself with a stay at their beach villa, so very beautiful.

The staff were all first class at this property. The concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on checkin and through our stay. The Ocean Front Private Pool Villa was stunning. My partner and I did not want to leave, it was such a treat. Refreshing welcome drink on arrival. Welcome fruit in our villa. It had such a lovely vibe. The double deck chair to relax and take in the ocean view one way, another chill out area to get an alternate view, the pool with lights and jets, the frangipani tree overhanging, giving some shade and dropping beautiful fragrant flowers into the water. We just loved it all. Housekeeping were very thorough. New covers on the deck chairs and chill cushion, cleaning the pool, every little detail. The restaurant has 2 levels and we sat upstairs all the time, which looks down on the main pool and on to the ocean and pier. The food was amazing and the cocktails were fantastic. The service and staff at the restaurant and indeed everywhere on the property were second to none. Would love to go back for a longer stay.

Great weekend trip

Pleasant staff and breakfast buffet nice pool, beach and location. Frightful price for very small room and under size small bed for my adult son. Room very in need of maintenance with windows not meeting in middle and a large gap to invite the mosquitos in. Stayed 15 nights, the 15th was due to a flight booking issue and boy did Le Meridien bite for that 15th night. Real money grab as I paid on check in for the extra might, and then on check out with the transport waiting they said oh no you have to pay more our staff made an error. Never again. Mean and miserable. Donuts at $7 each OMG. Never again. Stay at Chaweng!

Great service throughout our stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. External areas looked a little tired and lack of covered walkways in the rain was a bit of an annoyance. Otherwise a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Very old resort and the shower in in the back and a lot of muskedo. Not worth the price or name

Поразило количество муравьев в номере, мы семьей не спали ночами нас кусали муравьи. Уехали оттуда с радостью и все искусанные!!! Неудобный матрас -очень сильно мягкий. Пляжа никакого. Направо из отеля выйти по пляжу метров 50 супер массажистка!!!!
