Amazing!
Amazing hotel with kind and welcoming staff. The dinner on the beach was kind of overrated, but there are several other possibilities along the beach. Nice hotel that gave serenity the moment we arrived.

Great location and in Chaweng with walking distance to everything. Receptionist and staff very friendly. Nice beach and service at the beach. The room was catastrophic, bugs, mosquitoes not able to close doors properly, with large gaps, no comfort whatsoever. Not returning to this resort

Flott hotell, flott plass. God service, god frokost, god wifi. Familiesuiten for liten for 5. Oppgitt til ca 129 kvm. Var vel rundt 70 kvm m/stue på 15 kvm m/liten vinkelbenk m/plass til 3 stk... Bitteliten terrasse m/2 stoler. Sterk overdrivelse å kalle dette en familisuite. Sengene var store og knallharde...dusjrommet ble ikke rengjort under oppholdet (16 døgn). Men kunne lett reist tilbake til Dara

Fantastisk !
Vi hadde 8 fantastisk dager på Dara . Servicen var utmerket og beligenheten perfekt. Stille og rolig ved bassenget/stranden og ikke noe støy fra gaten på kveldstid.Vi kommer helt klart til å velge dette hotellet igjen.

Perfekt plass for å lade batteriene.
Fantastisk service, fint hotell og fasiliteter. Ligger rolig til oppi fjellsiden, men hotellet har gratis transport til og fra stranden/ lokalt sentrum. Eneste vi savnet var lengre åpningstid i baren da det kunne bli litt rolig om kvelden. De ansatte var fantastiske og de hadde en herlig lun humor som ble reflektert i skilter og på menyer.

Helt ok for en natt.
Helt greit hotell. Valgte dette for en enkel natt fordi det var nært flyplassen og veldig sentralt i Chaweng slik at jeg kunne gå til alle butikker etc. Hadde vært sør på Koh Samui i to uker, og var på vei videre. Flott service og et hotell som har vært bra da det var nytt. Nå var det slitt og ikke mye å skryte av, men det var rent. Helt ok.

14 fantastiske dager på Dara Samui Beach Resort. Meget vennlig og trivelig personell som gjorde alt for at vi skulle ha et flott opphold på Koh Samui. Anbefaler hotellet.

Bra beliggenhet
Hadde to fine uker på Dara Samui som ligger flott til på Chaweng stranden. Litt mye vind som gjorde stranda litt trang og smal noen dager, men ellers fint. Ganske langgrunt å bade. Veldig hyggelig personale som gjorde sitt beste for deg. Flott frokostbuffe og veldig god mat i restauranten. Kunne kanskje vært flinkere til å rydde søppel langs sjøkanten. Harde senger, men forstår at det er stort sett det samme på alle hotellene her. Hadde også ønsket komfortable stoler på balkongen i stedet for en hard trebenk. Bor der gjerne igjen.

Stay here!!! This is an amazing property. My husband and I did not want to leave! The villa is worth the extra cost! Fantastic dining options- don’t forget to book at Dara Serene beach dinner. The staff is amazing! Mook and Rit were amazing poolside and dining servers and were so friendly. Zay assisted with a seemless check in experience. We were treated like we were the only guests on property. Great breakfast buffet with a made to order section. They have a great beach area that has a break so it is calmer than the rough waves further down the beach. Walking distance from beach clubs and water activities but this resort offers so much you really do not have to leave. If we go back to Koh Samui, we will not consider staying anywhere else.

This hotel is on a nice part of the beach and walkable to many restaurants, shopping and nightlife. My only complaint is poor water, pressure in the shower (I have long thick hair), and the water temperature fluctuating from hot to cold. Not sure there’s a whole lot the resort can do about this, we did make a complaint about the water pressure which got slightly better, but no changes in the fluctuating water temperatures from hot to cold. The staff were kind, and attentive. Make sure to get a coconut shake! I think our family had them every day. The other fruit shakes were also delicious, but the coconut one is special served right in the coconut! Dinner on the beach the way they set up. The tables is truly a unique experience. The seafood is excellent, as others have also said. Hotel made it easy to arrange pick up and drop off at the airport.

I e been tying many different resorts in similar price range with similar ratings and this was pretty high up on all areas - except for two items. Parking is almost impossible- the local taxi service parks multiple cars right in front and even cones off available spots to save for other drivers. You have to argue and wrestle with them - sometimes they back fown and others not - the hotel can’t do anything because they pay the police so they won’t make them move! It’s prime party spot for Chaweng - so good luck. 2nd is that there’s the biggest club not too far away and if snd when the wind is blowing from the wrong direction- you hear and feel the noise and beat until 5am. Many guests complained - but nothing the resort can do- 2 nights no problem. 2 night- ear plugs didn’t even help. Breakfast was one of the better ones in the area. Very convenient location for dinner, activities If you don’t have a car and are a heavy sleeper- this is great place!

We always try our best to find a parking spot for our guests although we did inform our guests the hotel does not have a private parking site. You are correct about the challenge we have with the loud music especially when the wind is blowing in the "wrong" direction.
