«Greetings & salutations,This is my 1st VRBO booking and there were no surprises other than, how big and fully stocked the kitchen was! The pictures do the place justice, great mattresses on all the beds. Great fire pit and decks. We ran out of Body wash and before you know it, Door dash dropped some off (thank you Beth!!)Definitely like being at a nice hotel, no stripping of beds, just run the dishwasher and take out the trash. «What a pleasure! Both the accommodations and our Host! The home was on a very quiet street within walking distance of town. Exceptionally well appointed and very updated (in fact it appears to be brand new). Communication was great, we had zero issues. «This is once again a terrible experience using a VRBO listing. We were contacted a few minutes to check-in that the cleaning staff were not done and ready for us to occupy. This was awful because we had been out and about all day and needed to clean up and freshen up because we had a show to attend in Shepherdstown at 5:30 pm. I told the contact we did not care if cleaning people were there we needed to get in at 4pm as promised and we would be gone in 40 minutes!!! but we need to get ready! ...

The house was clean but, the windows have only sheets curtains, therefore at night there’s no privacy, anyone can see you from the road. Also some windows don’t lock.
