«Superb property. Close to everything (Virginia Beach, Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, Norfolk). Exceptionally clean, great communication, easy check-in. Great amenities and everything in the house is functioning. Great property for dogs with a huge fenced yard and walkable neighborhood. Quiet, residential area but a short drive to all attractions. «They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes ...

«We had some trouble getting in as the code for the lower door was listed as one thing and then after awhile we were told the correct code. The house is nice and pretty inside. The problem was that we didn’t have hot water the first night and Saturday morning. The repair came in the morning and said that it had been turned off due to cold weather weeks before our visit.
