«Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay.»

«Nice room but outside balcony was covered in cobwebs and leaves. Couldn't find a way to turn the heating down and was way too warm in the room. Only one balcony door would open »

«What a lovely place to stay, an amazing find. Dinner in the bar, fish and steak dishes were excellent, tasty, fresh enjoyed with a fine wine and relaxed with cheese and biscuits afterwards.
Staff extremely helpful and courteous. A lovely gentlemen serving breakfast cared to explain the local area. Breakfast food also wonderful.
Spa facilities used in the morning and then on our way, beautiful property and very relaxing.
Only booked for one night but will definetly return. Truly delightful ...

«My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience.
We had a sitting room (with verandah) which was very comfortable and well equipped with a coffee maker, ...
