Seashell Bungalow has been lovingly cared for over the years and the meticulously maintained condition can be noted throughout the entire home. Reminiscent of mid-century modern coastal architecture, this home is a true gem that has been preserved and updated tastefully to showcase the true character and charm of years past.

Perfectly suited for smaller families or couples, this cozy bungalow provides a tranquility spacious Queen Bedroom featuring a private En Suite with an easily accessible large stand-up shower. The thoughtfully equipped kitchen has everything needed to create delicious meals and enjoy the coziness of the dining table for a good puzzle or board game with the group. Down the hall, you will find another queen bedroom with the full shared hall bathroom located directly across the way, and lastly, a third bedroom sunroom which boasts a twin daybed and a twin pull-out trundle can alternate as an additional living area if needed. BEST FEATURE EVER one level living with minimal steps to access the front door, this home is easy on your knees too!

Seashell Bungalow is perfectly nestled right next to the ocean, around the corner from the famed Arts Place, and within walking distance to the Kitty Hawk Pier and other local shops. There are public beach accesses less than a mile from the property. Additional amenities include an outdoor shower for those wanting to wash off the salt and sand after a sun-filled day at the beach, and a new gas grill sits ready to be the epicenter of a group barbecue or family picnic. The stunning dune views and semi-oceanfront location offer a tranquil backdrop to create some unforgettable experiences, your group can rest assured that the surrounding area will emit its truly blissful nature and all expectations will be met at Seashell Bungalow!

Great for pets but warn renters to bring booties for the prolific sand spurs. Very clean and great access for pets and mobility challenged renters.

The property was the perfect size and the location was amazing. Just across the street from the beach in Kitty Hawk! There was a hiccup regarding water heater was not working for 1st day and a half, but, the property manager responded quickly and had people over to fix it ASAP. And the workers were great as well. Respectful and did a good job.Not ideal to have a hot water heater being removed and installed during our stay, but, things happen. Overall, not a big issue. The coffee maker stopped working on the last day of our stay, which is also not a huge deal. Otherwise, the property itself was pretty clean and well kept. Perfect little beach bungalow and would 100% stay there again! Would definitely recommend the property and and Kees Rentals

The location cannot be beat, easy access to beach access. The house was missing some essentials (extra trash bags, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner) and we saw a cockroach, which is why I docked one star, but overall an enjoyable stay.

We rate this property 4.5 stars. The bungalow is very well updated and maintained. Kees was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. We really loved this home and had a ‘core memory’ vacation for our family. The location cannot be beat and has everything you need for a comfortable and fun beach vacation. The layout is great and gives everyone space. If not for the stove we would give this home over 5 stars. However, the stovetop is nearly unusable and needs to be replaced. We had to pivot plans to eat out instead of cook meals at home - which with young children isn’t easy. Aside from the stovetop, everything was well beyond excellent.

Lovely property

This property is very close to the beach!! You can see the sunrise every morning at the beach. The front and back porches are comfortable after a day at the beach. The house is great!

My family of 4 plus our dog stayed here for 9 days while enjoying the Outer Banks area. We spent every other day on the beach and spent the rest of the days exploring the lighthouses, the Wright Brothers Memorial, Duck & Corolla, the 4x4 beach, the NC Aquarium, and the Alligator River Wildlife Refuge. It was very convenient to all of those locations as well as a ton of restaurants. Beach-wise, it couldn't have been any more perfect. It's literally only a few minutes to walk from the door to the water; it's easy to cross the road and small sand dune, and is about halfway between 2 public access sites, so it wasn't crowded at all, even on July 4. The house itself is very nice - it's cozy and nicely decorated, feels very much like a beach house. The beds were comfortable and the AC and ceiling fans kept us cool even during a very hot and humid week. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, though the pans & utensils were in rough shape. We greatly appreciated the abundance of beach items provided in the shed - umbrellas, beach chairs, cornhole boards, boogie boards, sand toys, etc.You will want to know that there are almost no consumables provided. For a 9 day stay, we only received 1 trash bag, 2 rolls of TP, and 3 packets of dish detergent - so I'd suggest bringing EVERYTHING you need. The bath towels provided are also very cheap/thin and small, and we only found 1 kitchen towel.We'd definitely stay here again, but we would pack more than we're used to bringing to rentals.

House as described

The house was perfect for us and we would rent it again. However, the small porch bedroom should be described as pretty small and really only for a small bed. The window off the kitchen should have glass out in it for noise reduction. The small bathroom has a narrow shower. Workable, but it is hard for normal tall people to use it. The other bathroom is roomy and very nice. The kitchen had everything that was needed. The Kureg and regular coffee pot was especially nice. Living room spacious with plenty of comfortable seating.

Cute cottage, however you cannot see the ocean. Listing stated steps to the beach. You had to pretty much climb a sand dune to get to the beach after you cross the highway. Disappointed that oceanfront cottage was not oceanfront.

Charming, well-located beach cottage

This beach cottage was perfect for our family of 2 adults & 3 teens. Old-school but recently renovated with an especially spacious and lovely master suite. Well-equipped kitchen and generous sitting area. The beach is a quick hop over the dune--less than 5 minutes from the front door to the ocean. Central to restaurants and other communities. Highly recommended!

Beach vacation before college

The place was perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. The beach was right across the road and it’s within 3-4 miles of anything and everything you could possibly want to do. It was cozy, comfortable and definitely would stay again.

Excellent location, great stay!

Fantastic location, a short walk across the road, over the dune, and at the beach! The house was absolutely precious and charming, stocked with all we needed. We had plenty of room for our family of 6, ages late teen to toddler. We had a bit of trouble receiving the check in emails, but remedied over the phone. Our first visit to OBX was a memorable one. Thank you!

Beach get away

The house worked out great for my family. The outside shower needs to be fix as it had no water flow. We removed the shower head and cleaned it but only achieved a weak stream of water. Was hoping that it was a private outdoor shower. Overall we really did enjoy the house.
