An intoxicated woman came to my door over and over again banging on my door and screaming. When I opened the door she assaulted me and tried to force herself into the room. My son was terrified. When I called the front desk they told me not to worry about it. She will eventually stop. There is nothing they could do in the middle of the night and I should go to sleep. Minutes after that conversation, at one am, the intoxicated woman started to bang on my again. She was screaming that she wanted to know if I'm ok. She was upset that I was upset. It was amazing that the hotel told me to get some sleep and the lady woke me up to tell me that I she didn't want me to be upset at her for waking me up. I didn't get sleep. It went on for 3 days. The manager refused to speak to me and they asked me if I enjoyed my stay. The security guard was a very sweet 80 year old man. Bless him, he tried so hard to help. She was double his size. I felt so bad for him, at that age to deal with drunk women in the middle of the night. He should be retired. I guess it's my fault. I should have picked a hotel that wasn't hosting a cheer leading convention. It didn't occur to me to check. In the future I will check for special events happening and will bring ear plugs I guess.
