«We had a wonderful two night stay at the Linthwaite House Hotel. Very nice and attentive staff, comfortable rooms and a beautiful location. Upon our late arrival the welcoming staff prepared sandwiches and drinks for us in the lovely lounge area even though the kitchen was closed. We tried the tasting menu which was delicious. The stay exceeded our expectations and we will definitely come again!»

«Hydro hotel occupies an old building with spacious hallways and rooms. No elevators. The rooms do nor have the standard that we have come to expect today, but they are clean and everthing is working. All personell is service minded. On the positive side I was positively surprised by the quality of the food served at dinner: excellent!. »

«We were a family of six travelling and we had invited our daughters and their husbands for a long weekend in The Lakes. We made a mistake ordering standard rooms and it was disappointing that we were given a tiny room as the paying part. I guess that’s our fault. Location is perfect with free parking, the staff are amazingly friendly and the breakfast first class. The place needs a good clean and shine up. The garden and exterior looked as though they had been forgotten for the current season. ...

Location is perfect with free parking, the staff are amazingly friendly and the breakfast first class. The place needs a good clean and shine up. The garden and exterior looked as though they had been forgotten for the current season. We will revisit but advise all to not book the cheapest room. The next level up were considerably larger and better and we will be booking those next time. "
