«Good food and comfortable room»

«Staff were amazing 10/10 Food amazing Very accommodating Rooms says soundproof but wasn’t and corridors smell of the food, overall though we had a lovely time and used as a base and we enjoyed the food they served 10/10»

«The staff were very welcoming and friendly, very helpful. The location was perfect, the food spot on. Couldn’t be happier. Great atmosphere.»

«There was plenty room to park and the staff were welcoming and polite. Having booked a superior room we were disappointed that we had been allocated an attic bedroom with a small very window. Although the room itself was quite large the plaster and paint work was in need of some restoration. «Veldig trivelig og hjemmekoselig sted, god plass på rommet og imøtekommende vertskap. Vi kom med tog til Thirsk, var lenge å vente på bussen så vi valgte å gå- det var litt langt med koffertene på slep, brukte 1 time. Vent på bussen, eller ta en taxi:-) Thirsk sentrum er sjarmerende og vel verd et besøk, det går buss fra Old oak Tree.»

«Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here!»

If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it.»

Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.»

«I've stayed here, overnight, on two occasions in the last month. During both stays I have come down for a continental breakfast either at 7.45am or 8.30am only to find the through door into the breakfast area was locked and no one around to give access. This meant I had to go to a nearby shop to buy breakfast at an extra cost to me even though it was already part of my booking cost. On both occasions complained afterwards to the pub manager and received no apology as he stated breakfast was at ...
