«I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. »

«We stayed for one night as a stopover on the way North and were very happy that we picked this Inn. The room was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs and in line with the price point. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was nothing short of excellent with good quality ingredients, perfectly prepared.»
