This was a really nice villa. There was a hot pot in the room for coffee and tea.
The sheets and room were very clean. Also has a very scenic view, especially for sunset and sunrise. The mountains are right out front.(and behind)
It is kind of behind the road a bit but very easy to find.
Literally, every bit of food is 2 km or less away from the hotel-very easy walk. (The hotel also has a menu- you can also purchase noodles and chips from the front desk)
If you’re planning on doing the sunrise hike on Mount Batur there is a good tour guide (at the hotel) they are very trustworthy and the hike is for 300,000 RP (for 2 ppl) or 400,000 RP (solo)
It also comes with a really nice breakfast at the top.
And also the hike starts from less than 500 meters from the hotel. (it’s not as easy as it seems, but I wouldn’t say it’s not beginner friendly.) but I will say I give this hike tour a 10/10 I would not choose to go to any other place while staying in this area for the hike tour.
My only issue was literally just there are a lot of flies during the daytime but they go away at night. The weather is very nice here at night especially.
There is also not much else to do in the area besides hike from what I saw.
Bring warm clothes too lol
But all in all, I highly recommend this place it is family friendly. There is no AC, but there are plug in fans. You really don’t need AC because of how cool it gets at night though.
You will most likely need a jacket, though if you go outside.
