«We stayed at Aonach Cottage in late June and early July of 2026. The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. «Really liked this place, a few minor blips, or would have given 5-star. GREAT location -- had a lodge on the water -- great views of the ocean! Had a hot tube which was enjoyed after long hikes. Restaurant had great food and drink. It was kind of setup as a hotel and then out lodges, which gave it a kind of camp ground feel. Our lodge had a kitchenette in it with a washer-dryer combo -- so if you want to do laundry and pack lighter -- great option. The view here off our deck was awesome ...

«As a family of 5 with a dog we have spent the last 2 Christmas’s at the mountain cottage’s and they are just perfect. No Wifi which is a blessing for a week of no screens, so getting out in the local area for some fantastic walks is the only entertainment you need. The cottages have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. A little peice of heaven for some peace and seclusion at the end of a busy year. We will be back!»

«We loved the cottage in the Highlands! The property was amazing and had all the convenient amenities in the kitchen needed. Beds were super comfy and the views were massive. We love the deck and the hot tub for evening happy hour. I think the biggest plus was heading out to the trail behind the property. We could hill walk during the day and walk to supper at Holly Tree in the evening. Thank you very much!»

«What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!»

«What a fantastic house, with amazing views straight over to Ben Nevis and the Aonachs! Easy to find, a really roomy house with excellent facilities - all rooms ensuite, comfortable beds, nice and warm with a lovely fire, a very well-equipped kitchen and super hot tub. Plenty of parking and room for all our outdoors kit. Very helpful owner with quick responses to texted questions. An easy drive to Banavie / Fort William or cycle along the Caledonian Canal.Thanks very much - I hope we'll be back!»

«The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Frances suggested two places for dinner, and they were both really good. She also gave us tips about the hike we wanted to do and recommended a place for lunch afterwards. It’s a beautiful area. If you go, walk down the road to the lake.»
