«A lovely place with spacious rooms in very close proximity to Queen Elizabeth Park. Staff were also helpful and very friendly. Rooms are secluded with their own verandahs.»

«Wonderful stay! Friendly staff and the food was incredible. We would definitely recommend this to somebody who wants a great food experience and nice accommodation while visiting the gorillas! »

«Excellent chef who prepared the best food from Uganda! Very friendly manager.»

«Excellent lodge and location for exploring the area and gorilla trekking!! »

«We would have liked to give this lodge a good review given its quite stunning location very close to the sector entrance, but unfortunately there were too many negatives bringing down the rating. Let’s start with the positive: * Proximity to the park entrance * Spacious rooms * Growing vegetable and fruit garden. «The place is very nice and clean, however we felt a little bit scammed for the price of the food which is over European standard. They only have one choice and asked 20$ for it and you really don’t have other options in the area. They let you pay also the water…the road to come is very bad also. I’d not stay again»

«The staff are super accommodating and lovely, all the food served, dinner, breakfast and the packed lunches are yum as. Room and bed were spacious and comfy. Highly recommend to anyone doing gorilla trekking at Buhoma.»
