«Amazing location, room 1 had view of Yasaka Pagoda right outside the window. Units were very comfortable and had everything we needed, small kitchen, laundry and wonderful bathroom with soaking tubs. Staff was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We stayed with kids and another family. One thing to note, because of tourist crowding on the street it’s not possible for taxi/uber to get right to the hotel, you need to walk a bit to get there. Fine for us but just something to know.»

«Tatsuno is a charming, former samurai town that is easily explored on foot. We were in the area to visit the Hijemi Castle, and were very happy to be in Tatsuno, away from the bustle of tourists. The machiya is large, beautiful, elegant, and very comfortable...we could spread out and relax. We loved our short stay in the refurbished traditional home.
