«Room was small but lovely. Very noisy at nights which we didnt mind but bare in mind when booking. Breakfast delicious both mornings. Very cluttered with junk in the corridoors and corners which doesn't look great but also could be a fire hazard? Staff really friendly. Good size car park behind. Lovely pub. Great price.»

«Wonderful room, very spacious and cool. Yes air conditioning goes a long way these days for the beginning of an English summer. Breakfast was also quite nice, it was freshly cooked and generous. If I’m ever headed down this way again, I’ll be sure to stay again. »

«Room was superb. Turns out I had the bridle suit which was very nice. The only complaint if I had to find one would be the pillows. Looked big and comfy but they wasn’t. All went flat and not very comfortable, but that’s an objective complaint. Food was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will be certainly using this hotel again on my travels. »

«A lovely place to stay, spotlessly clean and great service. Great food in the bar and all very reasonably priced. Becky in housekeeping provided excellent service in the rooms. It was an ideal place to stay with easy access to Hay and to the cafe in the airstrip. We will return if we go back that way again.»

«Friendly service . Very clean and nicely presented place. Lots to do in the area and staff happy to help with ideas. Nice little touch was a research area with comfortable chairs and leaflets , about the local area, to go through. Beer garden is a great place to relax. Would definitely be happy to return»

«We enjoyed a good stay at the hotel. It was well situated for our trip to Malvern Spring Flower Show. The staff were lovely and the food was good pub food. We particularly enjoyed the steak night which was excellent. Breakfasts were tailored to us individually, were well cooked and good sized portions. We will definitely stay here again. »

«We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious.»
