Snettisham makes a lovely base for a couple's break, with independent village shops, pubs and places to eat close by, so you can keep things easy without driving out every evening. The RSPB reserve is less than a mile away and well worth an early start, especially when the birds gather over The Wash in great shifting flocks. Take a trip to Snettisham Park (3 miles) to catch glimpses of deer and mosey along its farm trails, or meander through blankets of lilac buds at Norfolk Lavender (5 miles). For a day by the seaside, head to Snettisham Beach (1 mile) or Hunstanton South Beach (4.5 miles), where you can walk along the sand with newspaper-wrapped fish and chips and enjoy picnics beside the water. Further afield, there are two renowned golf courses (both within 9 miles) and Sandringham Estate (6 miles).


Park in the designated private parking spot, and head inside to your single-storey holiday home. Store shoes and coats in the porch before making a beeline for the L-shaped kitchen for a glass of wine and a handful of nibbles. Here is where you'll rustle up tasty meals after busy adventures, whether you’re making a three-course dinner or packing up a picnic. The conservatory/dining room is sun-dappled with a central table and six seats. The lounge is bohemian-style, with a sleek L-shaped sofa and a Smart TV for entertainment. After you’ve fully unwound, you have two chic bedrooms to choose from – a calming double bedroom and a twin bedroom. In the morning, wake up and freshen up in the shower room before you head out for an exciting day.


Head outside to the rear enclosed garden and kick back on the lounging furniture for heart-to-hearts and stargazing long into the night. At the front of the property is another charming garden with a table and two chairs for quick bites or a morning coffee. There is one private parking spot and a shared parking area opposite the property.
