«Our 4 day visit to the George Washington house in Alexandria was excellent. Location was right in the middle of lots of choice coffee & restaurants spots, easy to get to the Dash & Bus routes with connections to Metro rail. An easy 6-8 block walk down to the Potomac River & Wharf and more places of interest & museums than we could cover in 4 days. «Communication from the host was exceptional - we felt welcomed before we even reached the property. Proximity to King St was exactly what we hoped for - very convenient for public transportation, restaurants, shops, waterfront, etc. The property is very clean and the beds are super comfortable.
