1. Lighthouse & Rooftop

Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam

«I stayed in three different room. The VIP Suite with the rooftop, a floor on the 5th & 6th floor. Each room was comfortable with a 4 out of 5 cleanliness. There is a small ant issue but if you’re not bothered by bugs or animals being in Vietnam, then it’s no big deal. I learned a good trick to keep them Away is with cinnamon or vinegar in the areas they are residing. The rooftop room was super cute, just like the pictures. The flooring on the balcony was loose though, so I’d address that for ...

«The place was ok, but details said breakfast was included which it wasn’t. When we asked the host he said the 2 dry packs of noodles was “breakfast”. No staff on site most of the day, no housekeeping or toilet paper refills. Room was clean at least and had free laundry machine upstairs, but took several cycles to get dry completely. Not very convenient area and difficult to walk around nearby. »

«1週間の滞在でしたが、部屋は広く、清潔でとても良い。キッチン、洗濯機と乾燥機も付いているので、とても便利でした。スタッフも明るく、とても親切でした。ただ、ホテルの場所が分かりにくいのか、Ｇrabやタクシーを呼んでも、大体迷ってました。日本大使館からもほど近いので、治安的にも安心できます。スーパーも近く、コンビニも3〜4分の場所にあり、カフェやレストランも周辺にあります。また利用したいと思います。»

«I initially booked a smaller room late at night, and the host was very accommodating in upgrading me to a larger suite with a huge window and beautiful view, which I truly appreciated. She communicated consistently and efficiently throughout my stay and was very kind. The location is very central and convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions and restaurants. Overall, I was thankful for the host’s responsiveness and hospitality.»

« I would give it 2 stars. Slept with the furniture and my luggage pushed against the door and worried about my stuff when I went out. Nothing happened so perhaps I was paranoid and it's an interesting neighborhood, very:"authentically Vietnamese " as they say. I developed some silly, Western urge to eat something "substantial " and eat it sitting in a chair, not on a stool, and probably walked 3 kilometers before I found such a place. I thought about staying longer, but that seemed silly, ...

HOTEL du LAC SIGNATURE

10/10 Utmerket

"An incredibly beautiful and nice hotel, situated very centrally in Hanoi. Close to train street and lots of restaurants. Best staff and service, so incredibly attentive and friendly. The service was impressive to say the least. We were so lucky to receive a voucher for afternoon tea, something’s dont do enough, and this was a very very nice surprise. Also restaurant is very good and the rooftop bar has a very nice view of the city! We will be back!"

GRAND HOTEL du LAC Hanoi

10/10 Utmerket

"De ansatte var veldig hyggelig og behjelpelig med hva det måtte være! Hotellet ligger veldig, veldig sentralt til, og det går an å gå til mye. Frokosten er helt nydelig og restaurant maten er også veldig god! Anbefaler varmt dette hotellet og kommer definitivt til å bo der om jeg drar til Hanoi ved en annen anledning!"
