«Cottage was lakefront, view was great. Washroom a little tight. Had rain all night when we stayed and lots of killer mosquitoes next day. Still reeling from mosquito bites lol. Pack good amount of repellents if planning to stay. Very serene and quiet for relaxation. Only twelve minutes drive from town of Espanola. Mark and his dad were were very accommodating and communicative. Overall, it was great.»

«I stayed at this cottage for three weeks in April while I was working in the area, and it was everything I was looking for, plus more. The location is convenient and the view of the bay is spectacular. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. Also, having the barbecue available to use was a huge bonus! The hosts were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home base for adventures on this beautiful island.»

«Cabin was recently renovated. Extremely clean and comfortable. Had a extras like towels, toiletries and bedding not usually found in fishing camps. Great river front location on the French River with fantastic view. Slight confusion on check in but staff was patient and it was sorted out quickly. Not just a fishing destination but good for families or anyone that likes nature.»

«We enjoyed our stay very much, the environment was gorgeous views all around. And also use of canoes and board were much appreciated. Only thing to know ahead if you like to hike is that the only way to get on hiking trails is through entering the provincial parks. It’s unsure why that is. Never heard of this. Even a local hiker informed me of trails maps and re that fact. Just a heads up the information centre around French river may be permanently closed so it’s useful to search details of ...

«Nice, quaint house, within walking distance to a couple of restaurants on the waterfront. We had to deal with several issues but Annissa did her best to make things more comfortable for us and compensated us for the inconveniences. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities were provided to make for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our stay despite the inconveniences.»
