  • Fell House is a warm and friendly Victorian Lakeland house with lots of period charm, built in circa 1884. It has retained many of its original features, including pitch pine staircase and doors and white marble fireplaces, while being a welcoming and comfortable family property. It is situated in an elevated position, in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet only a 2 minute walk from Keswick Town centre in one direction and the river and Fitz Park in the other. It is ideally located close to shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, parks, Keswick Theatre by the Lake and Derwent Water, The Queen of the Lakes. Keswick is the perfect place for walking and cycling with many walks and cycle routes passing by the beautiful fells and lakes.


    On the ground floor, the sitting room is light and bright with comfortable sofas and chairs, where you can relax and cosy up in front of the open fire on those cold winter evenings. A second lounge is perfect for some quiet time, sitting with a book or watching the smart TV. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with everything you need to make a hearty supper. A 12-seater family dining table, allows everyone to sit together to eat some fabulous local produce and plan your next day's adventures. An exciting bonus is the adjoining breakfast/games room with a full size Garlando Coperto Football table for some pre- or post dinner entertainment. Further entertainment is provided by the Sonos bluetooth speakers in each ground floor room which can be enjoyed individually or together.


    On the first floor, you will find three en suite bedrooms, a further twin bedroom and a separate shower room. Upstairs again, you will find two more en suite bedrooms.


    Just leave the cars in the 4 parking spaces provided and enjoy a carefree holiday in Keswick centre and the Lakes.

    Fell House is ideally located in a quiet cul de sac in Keswick town centre yet only a 2 minute walk to the river and Fitz Park. It uniquely combines on-site parking with mostly ensuite bedrooms, making it ideal for a happy, stress free, family/group holiday. Truly a property like no other and ideal for enjoying all that Keswick town centre and the Lakes have to offer.


    GROUND FLOOR - the front door opens from the paved front garden to:


    Entrance Vestibule: A door with original leaded glass panel and surround, leading to the inner hallway.


    Lounge: With a bay window to the front aspect, original working Victorian fireplace and surround, with Keswick industrial art copper canopy, Smart TV, two 3 seater sofas, side tables and three armchairs. Sonos blue-tooth speaker.


    Snug: Window to the rear aspect, open fire with marble surround and Keswick industrial art copper canopy. Smart TV, large and comfortable corner sofa, side tables, two bookcases with a wide selection of books and games with two armchairs. Sonos blue-tooth speaker.


    Games/Breakfast Room: With full size, commercial, football table, 2 seater sofa, 2 arm-chairs, cast iron fireplace, Sonos bluetooth speaker and a door to;


    Kitchen: Side and rear aspect, range of wall and base units, electric double oven, gas hob, double drainer sink in stainless steel with mixer tap, larder fridge, larder freezer, under unit electric hot/cool blower and xpelair over hobs, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, 9-bar de-Longhi coffee machine and integrated Aeroccino. Family dining table with 12 chairs. Stable style door to rear yard area and parking for 4 cars.


    FIRST FLOOR


    Bedroom One: Rear aspect room with feature fireplace and pine double bed. Hanging wardrobes with drawers beneath, matching bedside tables, wall mounted TV and lamps. En-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and heated towel rail.


    Shower Room: Three-piece suite comprising WC, wash hand basin and shower cubicle, heated towel rail/radiator.


    Bedroom Two: Twin bedded rear aspect room with wardrobe, bedside table, armchair, wall mounted TV and set of drawers. En-suite shower room. Please note the beds are not zip and link.


    Bedroom Three: Bright front facing bedroom with bay window holding two armchairs and table, ideal for quiet moments. Double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and matching bedside drawers with lamps and wall mounted TV. En-suite shower room with heated towel rail.


    Bedroom Four: Twin bedded room with hand wash basin, wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps. Wall mounted TV. Please note the beds are not zip and link.


    SECOND FLOOR


    Bedroom Five: Double bedroom with matching bedside tables, wall mounted lamps over, armchair, wardrobe and drawers. Wall mounted TV. En-suite shower room with heated towel rail.


    Bedroom Six: Beautiful bright bedroom with double bed, matching bedside tables, wall mounted lamps over, twin armchairs, wardrobe and dressing table. Wall mounted TV. En-suite comprising of a shower cubicle, hand wash basin, heated towel rail. Separate WC with hand wash basin.


    Externally: The property is approached by a pedestrian pathway and a small fore-courted garden area giving access to the front entrance door. To the rear of the property is a self-contained paved yard with parking spaces.


    Parking: Private for 4/5 cars.


    Sleeps: 12 in 6 bedrooms.


    Pets: Two well-behaved dogs welcome (permitted on the ground floor only).


    Heating: Gas fired central heating. Open fires in sitting room and lounge.
