Also find yourselves just over 1 mile from the shores of beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake and 3 miles from Mirehouse and Gardens, where you can wander through the leafy grounds. Discover Whinlatter Forest Park on the other side of Bassenthwaite Lake, where children can enjoy outdoor activities, including a rope course. Derwentwater, 3 miles away, is great for water sports and hiring boats.

Step into the house through the shared entrance and climb the stairs up to the two-storey apartment, which is accessed from the first floor. Wander in to discover rooms with large windows, high ceilings and 19th-century features. The lounge, which looks over towards Keswick and captures views of Derwentwater, is a relaxing space. Settle in here to watch TV or enjoy a film on the DVD player. Prepare meals in the generous kitchen/diner, which has a built-in oven and halogen hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Dine together at the table in here or find a quiet moment for yourself on the window seat with a cup of coffee. There is also a single bedroom and separate WC at this level. Venture up the broad staircase to find the remaining two bedrooms: these include a twin room, with en-suite bathroom, with bath and hand-held shower, and a king-size bedroom, with en-suite shower room and WC. Wake up to picturesque views from either bedroom.



Amble out into the sunshine to enjoy the shared gardens on warm days. Find plenty of places to sit out and take in the far-reaching views across the Lake District. This apartment comes with designated parking for one car.
