«This island is truly a magical place, with its dense vegetation, stunning ever changing beach, the local animal population from monkeys to colorful coral fish. We stayed in a bungalow, and if possible I would recommend it as you get the best out of you stay on this little charming island. The staff was friendly and professional, the food was delicious and with daily catch of the day. We are looking forward to returning to this special place as soon as possible»

«The property (houses on Easter Side) has big issue with the three-phase power input. Finally, we spent our night without electricity (two basic lamps were provided instead for the room and bathroom). The electric generator was not reliable - lights were blinking all the time. I didn`t want to charge my electric equipment when the generator was used (didn`t want risk damaging items). The breakfast was rather basic. The rest of the experience was OK. «This place is listed as Gloria Beach Lodge but it does not exist at the given address on the confirmation email. The phone number is a Ukrainian one. To contact this number after many attempts was futile. A message was sent via a local number and a local who contacted me 6 days later .In the meantime my family and I had to find alternative accommodation for those 6 days. «Nous conseillions vivement cet hébergement, vous y serez très bien reçu, c'est un lieu calme, très agréable, et très propre. Le jardin est merveilleusement entretenu les hôtes sont particulièrement attentionnés. Ils sont de très bons conseils. Les repas servis nous ont permis de faire un voyage culinaire. «I booked a double room a few days in advance, the confirmation came back almost strait away. But when we got the hotel (late in the afternoon) we were told all the rooms were booked out and the only things left were single tents. It is a really beautiful place though, and the staff were friendly, but a bit more organisation would go a long way!»

«Staff were very help full and very helpful. The was no AC only one ceiling fan and stand alone fan so the bedroom accommodation was uncomfortable to sleep in. The shower head fell off twice and needs replacing. Due to a management changeover the visa machine was not working so paying at the property was a problem. The beach is 700 metres walk away along two rough roads so takes 20 minutes or 200 to 250 KSH with either Uber or the villa taxi service. Several good restaurants and two supermarkets ...

«Esperienza negativa sotto tutti i livelli. Prenotazone che garantiva aria condizionata e colazione. Nessuna colazione e nessuna aria condizionata. Ho richiesto un servizio di lavanderia e mi hanno rovinato due maglie del valore di 300 € !! questa struttura deve essere eliminata dalle offerte di Hotels.com. Inoltre il sito dovrebbe verificare cosa viene offerto e cosa invece viene data! Bagno orribile e struttura da rinnovare!»

«The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. The apartment is ok, a bit outdated, but roomy. The pool is spacious, looks outdated but clean, the good part is that there are usually not many people there. The guards at the property are very friendly.»
