The Space:

Found in the village of Staveley, Ridgestone is extremely proud to present Lily Bank, a beautifully designed, spacious home offering five comfortable bedrooms and five bathrooms, making it an ideal retreat for families and friend groups. Thoughtfully decorated with stylish modern interiors, the house provides a comfortable welcoming atmosphere with plenty of space to relax, dine, and unwind.



The home features a variety of sleeping arrangements, with three king-size bedrooms, all three of which have en-suite bathrooms, a super king-size bedroom with a bathroom next door that includes a bath with a shower over, and a twin bedroom with a shower room conveniently located opposite. Fresh bed linens and towels are provided for all guests.



The sitting room is a bright and inviting space, offering comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and an indoor fireplace to create a cosy atmosphere. A separate snug provides a peaceful retreat for reading, working remotely, or simply enjoying a quiet moment.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals, with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and all essential utensils, glassware, and tableware, meal preparation is a breeze. The adjoining dining area offers plenty of space to gather and enjoy dinners together.



Lily Bank also includes thoughtful conveniences such as WIFI, a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, and a hairdryer. Underfloor heating runs throughout the house, providing warmth and comfort in every season.



Outside, the beautiful garden and patio areas offer a tranquil spot for dining al fresco or unwinding in the fresh air. The adjoining garage provides secure bike storage, and the large driveway offers generous off-road parking for multiple vehicles.

Guest Access:

Ridgestone's Guests have full access to the house, including the garden and secure bike storage in the garage. Private off-road parking is available. The village, with its pubs, cafés, and shops, is just a short walk away.



Underfloor heating is available in each room has a controller on the wall.



Check-in is self-check-in via lockbox, with the code provided on the day of arrival.



Families with children are welcome, with a travel cot available (please bring your own bedding).



The Neighborhood:

Staveley is a picturesque Lake District village, surrounded by rolling countryside, scenic walking routes, and charming local businesses. Visitors can explore the artisan bakery, welcoming pubs, and popular cafés, or enjoy the nearby Kentmere Valley for breathtaking hikes and cycling trails. The property is perfectly placed for exploring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, with Windermere just a 10-minute drive away.



Getting Around:

Staveley train station, on the Windermere line, is within walking distance, providing links to Oxenholme and beyond. A regular bus service connects the village to Windermere and Kendal, and local taxis are available. The village, with its pubs, cafés, and shops, is just a short walk away. For those driving, the M6 (Junction 36) is just a 15-minute drive away.



Other Things to Note:

Regarding Christmas 2025: Lily Bank will feature a large, decorated artificial tree from early December through to January, bringing plenty of festive sparkle. Guests are welcome to add their own special touches during their Christmas getaway as long as everything is taken away at check-out.



Lily Bank is a peaceful retreat in a quiet residential area - guests are asked to respect the surroundings, with quiet hours between 11 PM and 7 AM. No parties, stag or hen dos, or commercial filming are allowed.



Smoking is not permitted inside the house; this is a smoke-free home.



The home is family-friendly, welcoming children of all ages.
