«This place was gorgeous and perfect for a 2 night get away from Anchorage while my daughter was visiting from college. We got sunshine on the first night, some rain and wind on the second night, and took the ferry to Seldovia. I considered lodging there, but Homer ended up being perfect for a day trip to Seldovia (doesn’t take long to explore all of Seldovia). «We found Kobuk's Stall to be a great place for our activities in Girdwood. The king size bed was comfortable, it was quiet and clean, and a great place to stage ourselves. We ate out every morning and night (Double Musky is directly across the road!), but were able to easily warm up leftovers for lunch in the kitchenette. The hosts live on the property so if you need anything (we didn't), they're right next door. If you book directly with them is it much cheaper than VRBO. We would stay here ...

The toilet was not very securely fastened to the floor, making it uncomfortably unstable and no shelf in the shower as pictured for toiletries. «It was such a cute place to stay and communication was good. Few things, the TV acted up and the internet did not want to connect the first night. I just wanted to get there and relax after a long day of traveling and that made me a little upset. Although, the next day, they both worked just fine. Wish there was some sort of scent or spray and some pens and paper as well. Last, bedside table would be awesome to use instead of a stool. Other than that, great stay and enjoyed the cabin.»
