«What a wonderful spot the Shaker Bear Cottage is!! We were in New London for a Colby Sawyer college reunion, and this was the most perfect place to stay. Our hosts Tom and Kem are wonderful, and their cottage is so lovely—-spotless, well appointed with anything we would need (kitchen, bathrooms) and was tradition New England decor. We loved our visit!!!»

«We enjoyed our stay. Being only 15 minutes from places to eat, we had total privacy and quiet. The surrounding forest and nearby river are great and make you feel like you have escaped somewhere. Plenty of room for a family of four with a loft and a private room. Living space was nicely setup. If you want to prep your own meals during a stay, this place has all that you would need. «You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. »
