«The television was not loud enough. It would only go to a set level and was difficult to hear. The breakfast situation was horrible. There were no clean plates or utensils for a large number of guests. They said the were hand washing dishes and utensils. There was no water available at breakfast. «Food is good. I had issues with the door lock. Getting in and out of the room was an issue. Had to call front desk to open it. Staff are not helpful. Cleaning staff changed the towels but did not replace them. Spa has a pool. They keep the pool area locked even if spa staff are there. Spa staff cannot unlock. Go to front desk. Facilities are run poorly.»

«Always have an issue with this hotel. Have stayed there as part of a team's choice for a tournament; definitely not my choice! Always find something dirty, this time A/C wasn't working properly and had to make my own bed when asked for a change in sheets (due to some dirty spots found). This was because they only have 1 staff member at certain times of the day (this was at 2pm) therefore front desk person can't leave to help so anything.»

«Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away). «Our stay was good. Sad to say, our bed looked like it had just been remade after the last guest. Our top cover had stains on it, and our sheets did not look clean. When I woke up in the morning to leave, I always take the sheets off the bed to help with housekeeping. Our bedroom sink was clogged, and water did not go down after I used the sink. «Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.»
