The room was okay. The lady that checked us in was rude and not very helpful. She was a younger lady. I asked if it was possible to get a room on the main floor so I could park my work vehicle outside the room to clear it the next morning and get it running, as there was a storm hitting that evening. She said I booked a room on the second floor. I said what do you mean I booked a room on the second floor? I just booked a room....I didnt pick the second floor..She followed up with the room type you picked is the second floor.. I said okay, I didn't know that...I was I supposed to know that? I said it didn't say second floor when I booked it.. After that she just stood there as if that was the end of it. The whole time she wasn't very friendly. The last time we were there , only 2 weeks prior a different woman told us that the main floor would cost $10 more. It took my worker who was with me to ask the young woman , after a long awkward pause of just dirty looks going back and forward to ask her can we not just upgrade? She says if I have a room, and that would cost $10 more...I said I don't mind paying $10 more..she finally said I will have to see if one is available.. You have to understand, this hotel was practically empty. Maybe a handful of people were there during this storm. If it was not for this one young lady, my stay would have been really good. All the other staff were very nice. Room was clean, and the breakfast was nice.
