«This is an amazing property (staff, location, amenities), but the food and beverage quality is sorely lacking. Overall: Every drink is at least $16. Mind you, this is a no-frills mixed drink marketed as a cocktail. I use the word "cocktail" here very loosely. I guess this is to be expected; you're on an island. «HCR is great, the location is great and the staff is fantastic! We didn't have a car, so getting around could be a nightmare, hadn't it been for the excellent shuttle service with the extremely service minded drivers. Very friendly front desk staff. Excellent features (BBQ, pool, jacuzzi, computers, wifi, well equipped kitchen etc) Go to HCR if you want a getaway in beautiful surroundings.»

«We only spent one day here, which was a shame. It seemed very much like a community there, with amazing facilities making it easy for independent living, and great for longer stays, but not ideal for just one night. Late check in and early check out as well. The area was stunning, and the room was amazing!! The staff were very friendly, but not very helpful with tips outside the hotel, as we were not long term guests. But for a longer stay it would be amazing! »
