Dear Michael, I am sorry if you are hurt by the fact I had to repeatedly ask you to deposit the money, which you did not do until the day of arrival, even though our policy clearly says guest is required to pay a 30% deposit in advance. Windows and doors are completely new and were installed just this spring and no complaints were made by any of the older, or the newer guests that came into your apartment after you left. They were just bottom hung (how the cleaning lady leaves them for the circulation of air until the guests arrive and it really is not hard to close it, but if you did not know how, you should have told us about it and someone would come immediately and do it for you). The TV set has normal cables for satellite and regular TV running down the wall but definitely no loose electrical wiring dangerous to anyone like you claim. Toilet was not clogged during the inspection before your arrival as it was just cleaned a few hours before when the previous guests left with no complaints whatsoever. The only moment when it was actually clogged is when you left the apartment and a full toilet paper roll was pushed in. There is always at least one person on the premises at all times, plus you had a number to reach me, and if you had, we would give you a different apartment had you voiced your dissatisfaction to us. We pride ourselves with our good reviews across all major hotel booking portals, which can easily be checked, and guests that always keep coming back. Once again, I am sorry for any bad experience you might have had in Croatia, but we do not think we are the reason for your discontent. We wish you all the best and have a good day!
