«Imano is a cozy, well run hostel that is impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable. The women only floor is secured with a lovely common area and a fridge.
Imano was the first hostel i ever visited 3 years ago and i will gladly visit again.
With the money you save staying here you can head to the super sento (3 mins walk) and relax after the day walking Tokyo.
Closest station exit is Shinjuku sanchome E1 which also has an elevator (close to golden gai). »

«I had a great stay at this property! While the room itself had more of a dorm-style setup—compact and simple—it was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short or extended stay. The space was well-kept and thoughtfully arranged to make the most out of the smaller layout.
The property overall was quiet, well-maintained, and in a convenient location. Common areas were neat and easily accessible, and it felt like a safe and welcoming environment. The management was responsive and ...

«Very lovely, well-maintained and comfortable accommodation close to the cablecar station that takes you up the mountain. Has a nice restaurant and hiking equipment facilities on the ground floor.»

«One of the best hostels have stayed at. Very clean, modern, beautiful kitchen. Great staff. However, there are challenges if you do not have a car. The distance to the train station going into the city is really quite a walk. Taxis are not always available. So I advise you MUST make arrangements for staff to pick you up at the train station and you must make arrangements at least one day in advance. They need to arrange to have an extra person on staff in order to be able to pick you up. There ...

«Extremely well trained personell with a good attitude, impressively good english and of great help. First impression was very good. Rooms super small, so don’t expect much here. But very comfortable bed, and well functioning air condition in the room. Shared bathroom, but it was good standard and super clean. Food in the restaurant was high end. It was very very good food. The area just outside the hotel is not the best, but it’s not too far to walk to for example Ebisu where you have everything ...

«Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. Free shuttles up to Gora in the morning are also a bonus (although you'll have to get yourself to Asante in the afternoon/evening as they don't offer shuttles then). Overall a ...

«I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area. »

Anbefales! »

"the hotel was close to the subway so very easy to explore Tokyo. The room itself was decent size with a quiet aircon and soft blankets. The room was cleaned every 3 days and new towels everyday so one can go to the spa resort. "
