I was placed in a corner room, tucked away next to an emergency stairwell. I had to stay 10 days due to a work commitment which they were paying for. In the 10 days I was there, my room was “cleaned” once (and by cleaned I mean I placed my own trash in the housekeeper’s trash bag and she placed new towels on the counter in the bathroom. NOTHING was ever actually cleaned.
Room was clean enough, but anytime the heat or AC kicked on it smelled of cigarette smoke from the folks outside smoking. Hot water was hit or miss.
But the worst part was the “free breakfast.” I don’t expect 5-star food… but it was literally the same EXACT meal all 10 days. Cold sausage links, eggs, tater tots and sausage gravy w/biscuits. There was dry cereal (Rice Krispies, Frosted Flakes, Raisin Bran) and a waffle maker… which is what I stuck to after the first day… after I noted that the gentleman who occasionally comes to check food quantity and stir the gravy was wearing his sanitary gloves while playing pool and using his phone and coming out of the restroom and then went directly to do his food duties. No thanks. Gross. Coffee and juices did not mix well either so I stuck to my own there too.
They do have a pool but the entire area is incredibly dark and most of the time it appears to be closed… although I did hear some kids splashing around.
The area itself seemed ok. I never felt unsafe, although I did often feel like my car was going to get hit or dinged from people flying in and out.
