Greit nok. Bra beliggenhet.
Hotellet har nok vært flott i sin tid, men trenger sårt en del vedligehold, spesielt bassengområdet. Dårlig renhold av bassenget. Rommene var store, men ganske mørke. Ingen møbler på balkong. Dårlig renhold. Vi måtte få bytte laken da vi sjekket inn og fant lange sorte hår på badet. Byttet rom etter en natt, fikk et med bedre utsikt. Glemte en gjenstand på badet og det tok 4 dager før de klarte å "finne" den, fikk den ved utsjekk. Betjeningen i restauranten var veldig hyggelige, og frokosten var veldig bra. God beliggenhet, rett over veien og du var på stranden.

Flott hotell midt på Kamala Beach. Stort fint basseng, og store fine rom. Gangavstand til alt dere måtte ønske.

Poor Management - it is like the parents are away and the children are running things. Asked to speak to the Manager twice but no reply. We tried to order Room Service, but were told that they were 'too busy' to serve us. Staff are friendly but there is no management Rooms are a little dated but still very nice. we were not the only ones that had to put up with indifferent service and lack of management

This is just an extended visit at a hotel I reviewed already. I added an additional day to accommodate my travel schedule. It was frustrating I was unable to book directly through the hotel x they told me they had no more rooms avail. I immediately went and booked on Expedia and was able to stay inbred same villa!

The hotel is 3star at best ,no bar except poolside .plenty of restaurants nearby beach is 5min away room did smell musty and damp but was clean bathroom was excellent and shower was hot and powerful would stay again

The initial room we were put into was terrible. (Room 5314) It was on the street side and very noisy, the shower head was falling off the wall, the toilet seat was on the floor, dresser drawers would not open properly. We moved to a new room the next afternoon after arguing with people at the front desk. We traveled 20 days in Thailand and the staff at this location had very low English speaking skills.

Nice location and fair good breakfast. Staffs are willing to offer the help when you are in need. Kamala Beach and all kinds of restaurants are nearby.

Extremely comfortable bed for the first time in Thailand. Staff were extremely polite and accommodating regardless of the mater. Would stay again.

The staff are super friendly and very helpful, the hotel is spotless, everything is available, big super market in ground floor, the location is perfect very near to everything but still far from any noise, the room design is very calming, excellent choice for colors, the view is perfect, perfect AC. One of few places that i really enjoyed even though i spent only one night. Highly recommended

This property is adequate. Not great. The pool needs to be refinished. Tiles are popping off. Beautiful dolphin and elephant fountains feeding the pool are cracked and leaking on pool decking. Plants are overgrown in walkways causing you to duck and dodge. Staff was friendly and the room was mostly maintained clean however cleaning times varied from 9am to 7pm. The hotel leaves out their cleaning carts with towels, shampoo, and bottled water available simply by going out in the hallway. I would stay here again, however I would look for another property first before booking Princess Kamala again. Also the breakfast buffet is good, but there are several better more affordable options close by. I recommend eating breakfast on the beach.

The water was dirty. Tried to take a bath and the water looked like tea.(rusty) not sure if it was only in our room or not.The staff gave us another room without a bathtub, so I am not sure if the water was better or not. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay.

Everything was average at best. I won’t stay there again. But my friend who doesn’t travel often and who doesn’t care much about good service liked it. Few tables for breakfast and the wait was frustrating.

We spent 10 nights at this wonderful hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool was beautiful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a quick walk across the street to the beautiful Kamala beach and lots of restaurants and shops in very close walking distance. I would love to come back!

Our pool-access room led to the section of the pool that was only 45cm deep. We had to walk out the front door and over a small bridge to swim in the pool (or wade through the shallow section). The 3 rooms in this section are not really pool-access rooms. Guests need to be told this. However they would be great for a family with toddlers.

Lack of cleanliness and any customer service.
This hotel is definitely not 5 star. I appreciate it’s an old property that needs some renovation, but what disappointed the most was lack of cleanliness and complete disinterest of the staff and team. This was my only experience in Thailand where no one seemed to care. Room was not clean on arrival, stains on bedding and towels. Cockroach in the bathroom. Only good thing was location, right opposite the beach.

This was an OK hotel with a great location (1 block from the beach). We reserved a poolside room, which was very convenient. The room itself was fine, but had a bad smell. I had read this in other reviews so didn’t bother complaining to the staff (who likely wouldn’t have done anything anyway). It was very family friendly, which can be annoying if you like calm and not being splashed in the pool. Worth it for the proximity to the beach though!

We wanted a hotel with easy beach access and this is it. Just across the street and over a little bridge and you’re there. Fantastic breakfast options at their buffet, and wonderful restaurants close by. Our room was huge, and comfortable. Thanks Princess Kamala.

Vil ikke anbefale. Vi havde booket pooladgang. Det er en mindre pool som næsten kun er i skygge og ingen solsengen i nærheden. Vi brugte det derfor næsten ikke. Ville Max give dette hotel 3 stjerner. Det er IKKE 4.5-5 stjerner! Der er ikke solsenge nok, så man skal tidligt op og spærre. Morgenmaden er kedelig og kaotisk. Bagageopbevaring lige så kaotisk. Ligger ikke helt ned til stranden som navnet ellers antyder, man skal lige gå over en vej og en lille bro før man når stranden

Total waste of money - hands off! The room was really old and not really clean. The shower did not work and also the sink was clogged, so you flooded the whole bathroom. Fresh exchanged towels in the bathroom with really interesting, multiple-coloured stains on it... Even found a halve-alive cockroach in the bathroom, not even talking about all the flies and other insects in the room... The breakfast: Well, maybe would be appropriate for a 2-room B&B, just forget it! Pool was old and with a lot of missing tiles on the floor, which were really sharp and dangerous! Fun fact: Counted 42 Sunbeds around the pool, with approx. 120 guests - you do the math! No smoking at the pool area? A joke with guys smoking weed at their balcony the whole day with little children all around the place! Also pretty interesting: During high season very loud construction work athe pool/reception area for about 3 days... For the management: Close the place - renovate and really clean it, then maybe open again! We tried to find another hotel in the area after a few days, but unfortunately teverything was sold out... Never again

We loved the room we stayed in. It was spacious and clean. The hotel is a few steps walking distance to the beach and main road with all the restaurants and Kamala night street and market. The front desk hospitality is superb.

This is an old hotel and is tired. The ladies at the reception were really friendly and helpful. The welcome drink was a pleasant surprise. This hotel is on 3 floors with no lift so if you have young children or walking difficulties, ask for a ground floor room. The pool area gets really busy but across the road is the beach and there are sun beds available for a small fee. This hotel is right in the centre of town with eateries, convenience shops, money changers, bars, beach massages, massage shops and laundry services on your doorstep.

Beautiful Resort
Beautiful resort right in the heart of Kamala Beach. Everything you need for your vacation is just steps away. Buffet breakfast was good, well worth the price. Staff were amazing - check-in/out took mere seconds. Also was able to check in early and check out late. Lobby area is big and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The Princess Kamala is nice but with flaws. The rooms are without style and the art on the wall looks like it was made in China. Lighting is POOR! Bathroom..ehh.The pool is also nice but crowed and in need of repair. Breakfast also "nice" but crowded and very standard. Looks better in the pics...BUT,,,that being said excellent location and for the most part nice wait staff. Probably good for the price.

Dejligt hotel
Dejligt rent hotel med flotte faciliteter. Store, flotte værelser med masser af ekstratilbehør og en lækker morgenbuffet. Vi havde en del problemer med afløbet i bruseren, der konstant stoppede til og strømmen der gik et par gange. Dog var de hurtige til at få kigget på problemerne. Overordnet set et rigtigt godt hotel.
