"Property clean and warm but I felt run down. Being in my 70s no where to put soap etc in shower just the floor heated towel rail broken. Very little crockery. Frying pans very loose handles. Only one seat to sit on outside on deck others broken."

"Patrick was an absolutely wonderful host and the arrival process was smooth and easy! It was the most stunning location with a lot of space for the seven of us that stayed. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay so we are hoping to stay again to get to spend some time outside on the property. One thing to note is that the property is completely off-grid. We loved this aspect but definitely worth knowing that there is just one composting toilet and one shower when you have a big group!...

"A new, well presented and well proportioned home for family of five (plus dog). Light and clean inside with large deck outside. Reasonably well equipped, though light on cups and good sized glasses, and no microwave (noting this wasn’t listed). For us it suited that the location meant there were no near neighbours but, at the same time, the property grounds and driveway were a bit of a building site and not yet developed. A delight to have the wild turkey and chicks roaming in the long grass."

Also was not advised of the severe water shortage (heads up would have been nice) and someone was going to come round and measure what was in the tank - no-one came we were very conservative with the water and would have been anyway if we had been told..Maybe a reduction in the daily rate would have been welcome due to the above. "Spacious and comfy bach with everything we needed for a weekend away with friends. The glazing offers such great views from all the living spaces. As already pointed out the kitchen is very small but we found it very functional - and the benchtop bifold out to the deck is brilliant. We found the bbq (situated out the back) was nearing the end of its life, as they do, but still managed steak for dinner. Hard to beat this private and well setup location."
