The property was good sized and well looked after. It was in a great location and walking distance to Kailua-Kona. We had a great time.

Great apartment in Kailua

The rental was centrally located and the check-in process was smooth. The only issue was that the power was out when we arrived and we had to turn on the main switch. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The unit also had beach towels, picnic blankets, and snorkeling equipment which was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Terrrrrrible. On Expedia the listing said “2 bedrooms” and ended up to only be 1 bedroom. There is a pull out couch with dark stains on it. There is a pull out bed from the entertainment center which was dirty but not as bad. There’s also dark stains on the back side of the curtains in the bedroom. Every light switch was completely dirty. 4 days in the power went out and had to turn it back. We left for the evening and came back later with the whole unit smelling like a fruity chemical smell coming from the direction of the air system in the living room. When I contacted the management about the incorrect information on Expedia they advised me it was basically Expedia fault. That’s not the case. Paid close to 3k for a 2bed and got this. They did eventually put us in a different condo at a different location. All in all first part of my vacation with my family completely sucked. Other half was better.

summary

Hard time finding the exact condo. Better instructions ….didnt know it was third story..although we enjoyed the view. We would stay there again. We were offered choices for extended stay. we only got 1 hour check out. The maid still showed up at 10 am…didnt know we were leaving at 11.

Clean, quiet condo near downtown Kailua-Kona

Very comfortable condo that is well-maintained and equipped for a family staying on the Big Island. The condo is in a very quiet complex with a nice pool, barbecue grills, etc. Only a block from the downtown area so convenient to shops and restaurants. Assigned parking spot so you know where you will be parking. Distant view of the ocean and very nice greenery on the grounds

Wonderful Condo

Had a wonderful time at this condo. The kitchen was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and the location was unbeatable. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, view and cleanliness!

The condo was incredibly clean and organized. We were very close to all the downtown attractions and has an amazing view from the 3rd floor. The bed was comfortable and all of the kitchen appliances were brand new. We felt very comfortable and safe within the condo. Was great to have our own covered parking spot. We enjoyed the pool and relaxing sun chairs. We’ve stayed in this complex on many trips, and this condo is by far the nicest experience.

Great condo

The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed! The bed was very comfortable and the check in process was easy! Only thing we didn’t like was a couple of nights we were woken up by people yelling outside. That being said we never felt unsafe I just think the homeless population is bad in Kona. The location was great, central to everything and loved having a reserved parking spot! If we ever come back to the big island we would rent this space again.

Kona Great Location

Easy to book & find... close to main strip, walk to shopping, restaurants & beaches. Nice view of Church & water from Lanai. Uncomfortable couch, confusing TV set up & loud air conditioning but we were out most of the time. Good value for clean & close to town!

Excellent Central Location! Right across the street from Beach 🏖

This was my second time staying in this Development but the first time in this Unit. The Condo Development is “very basic” looking upon arrival but the Location, Pool and BBQ Area are delightful. This Condo was in a great location and was extremely clean upon arrival. In addition, it had all the amenities one could ask for available. Iced cold waters in the fridge upon arrival, fresh Kona coffee and all sundry items needed in the Bathroom. The owner also, very generously, has lawn chairs and beach towels for your use. I’d highly recommend staying here - Clean, Excellent Location and competitive daily rates. The Wi-Fi needs upgrading, it is very slow and the unit can get quite warm/hot. Other than that, highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfect for our family of 4. It is beautifully renovated with comfortable furnishings and all the amenities we needed. It's an older building but this specific unit is practically brand new and so is the pool! I was a bit worried that the pool wouldn't have much shade, but later in the afternoon, the sun goes behind the buildings and it's perfect at the pool. It's in an excellent location. 10 minute walk to Alii Drive where all of the shops and restaurants are so we didn't need to get a rental car which was awesome. Overall, for the price especially, this place is perfect!

Vacation adventure on the Big Island

The condo is just across the street from downtown Kona were all the excitement is for music and resturants. We were able to fly into the volcano area to see the lava flow and fissures burning on a helicopter charter. Rented a jeep and drove to green beach and black beach and to the observatory. We drove from one end of the Big Island to the other end all in 7 days. We were not bothered by the vog during our stay in most of the areas we drove or in Kona. We will tell our friends to come to the Big Island and stay in Kona. Thank you for letting us stay in this condo. It was so convienant to everything we wanted to do on the Big Island.

Nicely Remodeled Condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found this place on Homeaway. It's close to everything, no car needed. It is nicely updated, clean, and nice views. We all fit comfortably. With my mom, husband, baby, and myself. Plenty of room. that's a bonus. Couch was a bit uncomfortable, plus I'm not a fan of wicker furniture. My mom smokes, so the walk to the smoking area was far for her, and it turns out there are homeless people hanging out camping at the smoking section. She had to find a new spot, because she wasn't comfortable. We did have a hard time finding the condo, because the directions weren't clear. We had to ask the maintenance guy. It is on the top floor which I wanted, but no elevator. That was a bit difficult. After hiking everything up, we didn't realize we couldn't check in yet. We called the rental company and they were kind of enough to let us in early. The condo needs curtains in the bedroom, it was so bright. It was kind of horrible given we had our 7 month old son, and he would get confused. The room could use a king bed, there was plenty of room. That would of been nice to have. The condo had AC throughout which was awesome. The neighbor next door I could hear snore sometimes, or talk. It also smells like cigarettes going by his/her place. That's how you can tell your condo is next door. Other than that, it is pretty quiet. We would stay again only if the condo gets curtains, the king bed isn't a deal breaker. A rice cooker would be nice, and more beach stuff, especially beach towels. We didn't use the pool at all, the mosquitos were bad by the pool.
