Or enjoy a book on the couch inside, cooled by the ductless air conditioner. Either way, the condo offers unobstructed ocean views across the beautifully maintained tropical grounds of Kona Isle.

In August 2026, we installed faux-wood luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring with cork backing throughout the condo. The wide planks give the entire space a fresh, clean, and more spacious feel.

The bedroom and living room have high-tech ceiling fans that operate so quietly and efficiently that you may decide to forgo the air conditioning, especially with the flow-through ventilation provided by the bedroom's jalousie windows.

The décor blends old-style "Island Chic" with modern touches. We have retained the classic rattan furniture while adding a contemporary mango-wood dining table, chairs, and media console.

The kitchen has granite countertops and is designed to make preparing meals easy and enjoyable. It is well stocked with cookware and utensils and includes a rice cooker and Cuisinart coffee maker—perfect for brewing your morning Kona coffee.

A Bosch refrigerator operates quietly in the background, keeping your groceries well chilled and frozen. At the counter, an ergonomic Humanscale stool provides comfortable seating whether you're using the space for meal preparation, dining, or remote work.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the condo, and the 55-inch Sony flat-screen TV offers cable channels and most major streaming apps (bring your own login credentials).

The remodeled bathroom features a quartz countertop and an easily accessible walk-in shower with a watertight rain-glass enclosure.

For added convenience, the condo has a GE dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The appliances operate quietly and make longer stays especially easy. The lanai also has a split sunshade with a convenient crank mechanism—no ropes—to provide shade when desired while preserving the ocean view.

For guests traveling with phones, tablets, laptops, and other electronics, the bedside lamps feature built-in wireless charging, USB-A ports, and electrical outlets in their bases. Living-room outlets also include built-in USB-A and USB-C ports.

Kona Isle is a cozy oceanfront complex that reflects the charm of classic Hawaii, with beautifully maintained tropical grounds and all the conveniences of home.
The oceanfront barbecue area has picnic tables where guests and residents gather for friendly conversation, sunset watching, and dinner. The heated pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and tables. Adjacent to the ocean is a sandy relaxation area where you can bask in the sunshine or sit in the shade and enjoy the cooling ocean breezes.

Kona Isle is a NO-SMOKING property. Smoking is not permitted inside the condo, on the lanai, or anywhere on the grounds. The home owners association requires a minimum stay of five nights.

Ali'i Gardens Marketplace is approximately 200 yards away and offers local arts and crafts along with a variety of lunch options, including some terrific food trucks.

Downtown Kailua-Kona is approximately one mile away, with restaurants, shopping, and a wonderful farmers market where you can find locally grown pineapples, papayas, mangoes, avocados, bananas, and fresh vegetables. The famous Magic Sands Beach is within walking distance. A convenience store with a deli, beer, wine, and other essentials is approximately 100 yards away.
