«A spotless, beautiful and modern hotel with every comfort. As the hotel was almost empty, we practically had the place to ourselves, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, especially the japanese course. We were also kindly upgraded to a better room upon arrival. The rooms are very spacious and still have the brand new hotel feeling. We would like to mention the gentleman at breakfast who brought us coffee before we even had to ask.
The onsen was modern and everything ...

«The hotel was probably top notch 30 years ago, but now feels a bit worn. Common areas are not inviting to hang out socialising with your own group or other guests. The onsen is great though! The restaurants look and feel as school cantines. But the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, but barely spoke English even though at least 70% of the guests were international. Short walk to the slopes is a definite pro. »

«We stayed as a family of four for 5 nights.
PROS:
- location was great, within walking distance to Anapuri
- the breakfast was great and changed daily which was nice
- the shared bathroom was clean
- it did feel family friendly and we liked meeting other folks in the common area
CONS:
- our room was ok - the heater and fridge didn’t work and it was clean-ish
- you have to walk through the dining area to access the communal showers which felt odd
- the staff also utilized the common areas so ...
