«I'm amazed at the ratings people have given this motel. The room was down a brick corridor and smelt mouldy. I'm glad I was only staying overnight. I'm not sure it was that reasonably priced but it was close to town.»

«Great location and comfortable rooms»

«Meget bra motell. Freshed og ryddig over alt.

«Mackay is not the center of the world, and the city has clearly suffered after Covid with a lot of store closures etc. It also doesn’t have the big tourist streams as larger Australian cities have. Seeing the selection of hotels, we chose to stay at the Ocean International as it is situated beautifully at the beach with a wonderful garden. Given that the hotel is quite affordable, we did expected that the hotel would be somewhat in need of renovation and that we were not to expect a premium ...

«Hotel was ideally situated, being close to a lot of restaurants, shopping centre, Aquatic Centre and good walking track along the river. Room was very tastefully furnished and fitted out with all we needed for our short stay and would also be for a longer time. Only small item it lacked was a long mirror. Good security and liked the idea of the separate room for the air-conditioner unit instead of being on the balcony. Recommend for future visits.»

«A nice room to stay in for work»

«This place was great! The staff were very helpful»

«Na»

«Great little motor in. Road noise is hectic until about 10.00pm, but after that it was fine. Rooms are fine too. Thanks very much for having us.»

«room was clean but the rest of the place needs work.. over looking the fact that they had put a single bed sheet sideways across a queen size bed on a mattress protecter that had blood on it and when we asked the staff if they could fix it they dropped off a queen size just in side the door so we could do it ourselves.»

«Very good value for the mony. good pool to enjoy after work. Extremely good service. Very nice and large rooms. Center of town. Improvements: Wifi is extremely expensive! Every standard hotel should provide free wifi in 2015, but generally Australia is a bit behind on all technology. mostly unhealthy food in break first restaurant.»

«Exceptionally clean and comfortable bed.»
