"The staff (especially Tiffany) was very helpful and kind. The hotel is rated as 5 stars on Hotels, but it is a more rustic experience. It is clean and safe. The pool could use some cleaning and the breakfast was disappointing. The location is great and the staff is wonderful"

"First, be aware, this is a lodge not a hotell. So expect more bungalow style comfort! The roome we had, which had a terrace and a fantastic swingchair overlooking the forest was very idylic. But, the location is very remote. Its very relaxing, as there is nothing around, but also very unconvinient. If you are here to visit the national forest park with the avatar mountains, its a fantastic location. If you are doing many of the other attractions it is very far away. We went to the glas bridge, booked taxi for 07:15 to beat the que( Before breakfast, which starts at 8), and arrived at the glass bridge at 09:00, this was without traffic. Tiaman mountain and yellow dragen cave are also very far away, so you spend a lot of time and money on transportation, if you a planning a longer stay. So even though, the staff here, especially Olivia is very helpful and great in English, chose this place if the relaxing feel is important. It almost feel like a bungalow in Bali, but you dont have access to other restaurants or markeds. So you are stuck with what is there, and for me personally, i didnt like the food much, so i ended up buying food in the city after one of our tours and eate at the room in the evening. Which i didnt really mind because the terrace was so nice and it was so different from the other big cities we visited in China. Although, we skipped Tiaman mountains, as too tired of transportation, we enjoyed the relaxation of the place. I highly recomend it, for the right ppl."

"Amazing views from the room. Fantastic customer service, and super helpful tips from Hailey, our concierge, to get the most out of our stay. It has a great location connecting to the main attractions of Zhangjiajie, as the National Park, Tianmen mountain++, easily reached with taxi or hotel service. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and pleasant."
