«Driving up to the property was beautiful, but we thought too remote. But once we were there, we could have stayed for weeks. It is the most serene and beautiful space. The rain even made it more enjoyable, sitting on the deck and listening to the wildlife and rain. If it wasnt so far away I would bring our whole family here, for the best getaway ever. «We really enjoyed our stay. It was such a cute little cabin and every detail seemed very well thought out. And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us. «What a beautiful & peaceful place to spend the 40th bday weekend for our youngest sister! There were 7 of us so every space was used from walking the 5 acre property of fields and forests with the dogs, hanging out on the back deck after dinner, running our zanny and active murder mystery in the large downstairs family room to hot tubbing at night. «Very nice cabin with well-equipped kitchen. A few other cabins in the vicinity and a convenience store nearby. Other than that, nature. We enjoyed hiking, the hot tub, and the whirlpool bath. There is no WiFi but a collection of DVDs and even VHS, but we didn’t get around to watching any. Lots of games as well.»

«The property was a lovely A-Frame building with room for extra guests or children upstairs. Each bedroom had their own bathrooms and the large deck overlooking the mighty Ohio River was fascinating to watch the large barges going past day & night. There is a large front yard for the children to run around. However, it is a rural location on the water, so bring your groceries a head of time.»

«Absolutely amazing cabin close to Louisville but secluded enough to fill like you are far away from the hustle and bustle! From the sunrise on the water to the twinkle of twilight in the evening the cabin is situated perfectly next to the lake. This is a great place to rest and relax!»
