«Well the VRBO website was down so check in was difficult and the owner was unavailable at the time we arrived. The cabin inside was clean but you should plan on bringing TP, paper towel and things like that. (There are stores nearby ) The control for the AC is not in the downstairs cabin where we stayed so we got hot at night and the porch facing the lake had not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The price and the location made up for the inconveniences so I’d definitely book again.»

«My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at this quaint little cabin style house! We enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. The Trident Marina is only a few minutes away for a quick bite to eat. The house was clean minus a few cob webs here and there and the sheets/towels were clean. However when we went to strip the sheets off the twin mattress the mattress cover looked like it had several stains on it. Overall we had an amazing time!»

«This stay was everything I wanted out of weekend fishing/camping trip and more. Beautiful property, lots of wildlife and an all around perfect place to casually enjoy the outdoors just north of Birmingham. We only stayed 1 night in one of the cabins but packed in a ton of fishing with a few buddies of mine and caught around 75 fish total. «The location is very secluded. It is about an hour outside of Tuscaloosa along a windy, hilly road in a natural area. There are no stores nearby so plan accordingly and it is off a small dirt road with the sign set off the road marking the turn. Some of my guests had issues finding it in the dark because GPS is spotty and there is not great cell service in the area, but we had no issues finding our way in the daytime. «The owners/property managers thought of everything! We packed s’mores and board games/cards, but the home already had that waiting for us! The house was clean and rooms comfortable. Easy access to the water and floating dock with kayaks and a paddle boat. We had campfires every night with wood which was provided, and spent our days on the water. We will definitely be returning!!»

«The bed was broken. You would roll to the middle and sleep was impossible. The sheets on all three beds had debris on them and hair. House did not smell clean sheets and bedding smelled unwashed. Parking was difficult especially if you brought a boat. Roads in to property are not paved. We had a truck and still had issues navigating the road.
