«This property was a perfect location for a long weekend exploring Charleston. 15 mins to downtown and 10 minutes to Follie Beach. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Grocery stores close by so we were able to cook a few meals between adventuring. Nice outside space. Perfect for 2 might be tight with much more.»

«Great location for our needs. Quick drive to the beach, King Street and the College of Charleston. We had 2 adults and 4 teenagers and we all had plenty of room to hang out and relax. Adorable decor and fabulous backyard.»

«We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the Islander. The house was very clean and had all the space and amenities we needed for our stay. It was located in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The location on James Island was perfect. It was 15-30 minutes away from all of the sightseeing we had planned. The host was exceptional to communicate with…very prompt with responses, kind, helpful and professional. I highly recommend staying here. We plan to visit again soon!»

«We loved the location! The house is in a quiet area and only 15 min from the beach and 15 min from downtown Charleston. Overall, everything went well and we were satisfied with the stay!We were disappointed that the outdoor area isn’t exactly what’s pictured, but it worked just for letting the dog out. There is a picnic table outside, but if you want a fire to sit around, you will need to have your own chairs. The shower doesn’t drain well, but I’m sure that’s a simple fix!»

«It was great to find a pet friendly place near the beach. The host was very accommodating with my two shepherds and an 18’ trailer that I had. The location is an easy drive to the beach or Charleston. The owners did a really nice job on making their game day spot into a cute place to stay. The weather was cool so the outside kitchen was a nice place to hang out. I was glad to have brought some bug spray…you are on the edge of the marshes on James Island. The area is filled with old live oaks ...

«Lots of space. Good location. It’s three separate spaces, and two out of three were very clean. The two-bedroom connected to the main home was in need of a deep cleaning. It was also disappointing that the hot tub did not work. The owner was kind and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall it was a nice stay. Very private and lots of room. Good location. Easy to come and go. Paying 5k for three nights felt a little steep, but maybe that’s just Charleston summertime prices.»
