The Sailmaker boardwalk is completely stair free allowing easier access for bikes, baby strollers, wheeled coolers, beach wagons, etc. The Sailmaker pool is just a short distance from the villa and the perfect place to catch some rays or relax in the shade from the magnificent oaks while the kids splash around in the pool.

Guests can also purchase access to the Summer Beach Club conveniently located inside the Summer Beach Village Community. Complete with a large ocean front pool, a snack bar open during peak season, and recently renovated tennis and pickle ball courts, this exclusive access truly makes for the most relaxing fun filled vacation! This also gives guests access to book tee times at the Golf Club of Amelia Island! The Summer Beach Village community is also just steps away from the Ritz Carlton where guests have access to all of the Ritz's restaurants, shops, and spa.

Beautiful view, Comfy Condo, Great Area

Amelia Island is always a favorite, and Sailmaker condos will be our new choice when visiting the area. This condo was spacious with comfortable furniture and beds, a beautiful view of the protected sand dunes where we saw turtles and rabbits every morning, and convenient parking. We also enjoed the decor. The beach was just steps away. No stairs on the boardwalk so we could pull our wagon down easily. They allow beach tents which was nice. The sand was powdery white. The pool area was nice and shaded which was a relief when we needed a break from the harsh sun. Kitchen supplies (knives, canopeners, etc) are in need of update.

Out of the cold.

Very convenient location. Good trails to walk and bike. Ocean view over the dunes is very peaceful setting. Condo was clean and well stocked with essentials.

It was very nice. There were two issues. There was a funky smell in the master bath. And the shower drain in the second bath had not been cleaned😞. The new flooring throughout was good. Lovely condo😌

Many "tired" things.

The overall rating should be 3.6. My wife fixed the coffee maker while I fixed the ice maker. Pet peeve - many (!) of the light switches are installed upside down and many seemed to do nothing. We were there three days before we found the garbage barrels. Outside the unit we found dog poop on the sidewalk, an empty water bottle in the garden, an old paper bag by the car, and someone's underwear pants on the lawn next door (they were not picked up for the whole time we were there). The kitchen utensils and glasses need the owner's attention as do the Yellow Pages Directory (dated 2010), the small booklets about Fernandina (dated 2020, 2021, and 2022), and almost all of the reading materials. The physical plant seemed OK, but the owner supplied information was very much outdated. For first time visitors, there should be a paper roadmap. We found our cell phones inadequate and the fact that we arrived on Friday afternoon of the shrimp festival didn't help with our frustration. We were also surprised that there was no one on the premises to help us get settled. Google maps basically ends with an entrance off Summer Beach. Then, of course we broke down with the now infamous "#" sign in the gate code. All in all we ended up pretty satisfied. A last comment would be that accessing the property, getting settled, and making use of all the amenities seems to be easiest for returning folks than for first time visitors.

We loved our our ocean view Sailmaker condo

We loved the king sized bed. All the chairs and the couch in the living room were very comfortable. We enjoyed the remodeled kitchen. The art was very pretty throughout. The master bath was great. We loved the ocean view.

Comfortable spacious Condo

We had a great spring break staying at this condo. Short walk to the beach, great ocean view and plenty of space for four people. Kitchen was well stocked, extra bath towels and washer and dryer. It’s about a 15 minute drive to the downtown area where most of the restaurants we wanted to eat at were located. This condo is 5 minutes from Harris Teeter which was very convenient. We took a short 10 minute drive south to Boneyard Beach which was fun to see all the old driftwood trees that have created a beautiful beachside scenery unlike no other I’ve seen before. Definitely recommend visiting ($3 entrance fee)

Very Nice Place

We loved the view and access to the beach. The condo was nicely decorated and the kitchen was thoughtful and well stocked. We really enjoyed that it did not have a lot of excess/random furniture, decorations or kitchen items. It was beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed and was so organized! Other than the strong winds that kept us from having a beach day everyday, we enjoyed our stay. We will stay here again. Thanks to owners for creating such lovely place!
