Welcome to 1159 Beach Walker located in the Beach Walker Community at Amelia Island Plantation, hosted by Stay Better Vacations. Indulge in an oceanside pool, pristine beaches, a community grilling area and nearby golf course. Nestled on the serene southern tip of Amelia Island, with ample scenic walking and biking trails, your stay promises a rejuvenating experience like no other.

Experience this beautifully remodeled, oceanfront 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa located on the third floor with a spacious multi-level layout. The main living area, including the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room, all with ocean views, awaits one level below the entry. Enjoy peaceful sunrise views from the oceanfront balcony, accessible from the dining area. Descend one more level to discover the ocean-facing primary bedroom with a King bed and ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Also on this level, find two guest bedrooms, one with two Twins and one with a King bed and a spacious west-facing balcony, perfect for enjoying sunsets amid a peaceful canopy of trees. A shared guest bathroom with a tub/shower combo completes this spacious villa, ideal for a memorable oceanfront retreat on Amelia Island. You'll have the convenience of a full-size washer and dryer, as well as free WiFi. Plus, this unit includes one assigned parking spot in the covered carport and convenient elevator access. During the busy season, we kindly request that each group limits its vehicles to a maximum of two to ensure a smooth parking experience for all guests.

Relax on the beach or by the ample Beach Walker outdoor pool, featuring a large deck and two oceanfront gazebos that boast amazing views. Guests also have access to bathrooms and the community grilling area.

This location offers everything you need for a care-free vacation—just park and unwind. Within the resort, explore parks, playgrounds, and amenities like free pickleball, basketball, and ping pong at Drummond Park. Stroll boardwalks along the salt marsh or catch a sunset at Walkers Landing. Enjoy spa services, boutique shopping, and dining at The Shops at Omni Amelia Island. Worse rental experience we’ve had in 30 years

Do not rent this property if you are not physically able to climb 13 flights of stairs. This is an older building and apparently the elevator is unreliable. It was out of service all week and had been out the prior week. There are 91 steps from the garage to the front door. It’s a difficult climb and once inside the condo there are three floors.

Nice Place

Enjoyed our stay here. This is our second trip to the Amelia/Fernandina area in the last few months. We have really fallen in love with this area of Florida after years of staying on the gulf side. However, we will probably not stay here again. This is not to say that we did not enjoy our stay at this resort. It was a little bit of a drive to get to most other places on the island. For that reason, we will probably stay closer to the Fort Clinch/downtown area on our next visit. The condo was very very clean and that is the main concern for us when staying at a vacation rental. The condo was also equipped with everything that you might need for a wonderful beach vacation. We also loved the privacy and many times had the whole pool and beach to ourselves. The views from the main room and living room were stunning!! However, the wand for the blinds above the couch was broken off and not able to be used. The host did offer to come out and fix, but since we did not really hang out there in the evenings we didn’t worry about it. Also, the sliding door in the main bathroom was difficult to operate. The small piece used to open and close the door ended up breaking off the second to last night. With that said, it was an enjoyable and memorable trip for us.

Lovely beach condo

Beautiful condo that was the perfect size for our family of 5! The balcony had great views of the ocean and was the perfect spot for morning coffee. Although we didn’t cook in much, the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful beach/pool condo in gated area!

Mom & 4 adult daughters enjoyed a relaxing 5 day stay at this lovely 3rd floor condo with an awesome pool and ocean view! Very comfortable, classy, and quiet. Thanks! We would definitely stay again!

Highly recommend. Would return.

The space is exactly as pictured. Elevator to third floor. Three short flights of steps inside. Enter to foyer and laundry room, down steps to living area/kitchen dining. Down another short flight to two bedrooms and full bath. Down the last short flight to primary bedroom. Steps weren't an issue at all for us, and we found the separation by floors to actually make the place feel larger. Had a few ZOOM meetings while we were there and the layout gave us privacy. Unit is a perfect size for a family or two couples. THREE couples *could* be tight in living and dining area. The view is breathtaking. Unit was quiet when we were there. Owners in the unit next to us on the north side were there. We were *aware*, but the insulation between units was either very good, or they were exceptionally quiet. Balcony is private from either flanking unit, though a unit in the next building can see over as well as into the primary bedroom. We opted to leave the high quality shades up to enjoy the morning light, making sure that "there's nothing to see here" ;) Balcony off the second king room is over the parking lot, but you don't notice it. You're really looking into the maritime forest and have lovely sunset views. HVAC worked well. Bed, pillows and linens were very comfortable. Kitchen was adequately/well stocked. We had all we needed, though if I were staying longer, I'd take some items of my own that I prefer. The building shows it's age outside, but it does appear that the HOA is doing a good job of staying on top of things. The grounds are lovely and, including the pool and beach access, are very well maintained. We did not find the building, pool or beach area crowded at all this particular week. All in all very quiet. We spent a lot of time walking the paths in the area north and south, and enjoyed the shopping and dining in the resort area. Golf was relaxing at well-maintained Amelia River course, challenging but FUN at beautiful Oak Marsh. Little Sandy Par 3 at the Omni was tons of fun. Historic Fernandina Beach had tons of shops and dining. While the weather was perfect, it's less certain than our past choice of SW Florida, but we found WAY more to do here. Less of a strip mall vibe and much more quaint. Very likely we'll return to the area, and possibly this unit, depending on the size of our group.

Mixed feelings

Locations was fabulous but service was subpar. The unit was not clean yet you are paying for a cleaning fee. They had to come twice but still not clean. Sent photos to show her still not addressed. Also insufficient supplies or toilet paper and soap unlike other VRBO property we have stayed at. Not something you should have to bring or go for when you are traveling and trying to relax and enjoy. Linens also not clean and shelves for linens filthy. Frig rusty in freezer if you are using. Lamp did not work in LR. Some existing damage to unit. They did respond by phone and removed cleaning fee after only offering to take off $100 but seemed like we were expecting more than we should have. Elevator was wet, dirty and slow.

Family vaca success

The property was nice and overall, well maintained. Amenities were as described. There are several levels of stairs which might be tricky with smaller children, but our boys did well. Kitchen is tight, but had everything we needed. The biggest plus was the managing group. Super responsive to any need we had.

Great property, Great experience!

We have 5 adults and loved everything about the place from the spectacular view, the layout/ open space main level. The host was very available and made everything easy. We were there at a busy time of year but the pool and beach weren’t crowded.
